The Falchion is a legendary sword forged with holy power, that wielded the ability to seal away dragons; specifically to be used against the siblings, Doma and Mila. Doma eventually gifted the sword to Emperor Rudolf of Rigel, who used the blade to seal away Mila. With Mila sealed by the Falchion, the country of Sofia began to fall into a dark age.
Many years later, after Emperor Rudolf waged war on the country of Sofia, a young boy named Alm opposed him. Alm, who was secretly Rudolf's son, was implored to find the Falchion and end the rule of Mila and Duma. Alm did so, taking up the Falchion and sealing away Doma for good. With the task complete, Alm continued to wield the Falchion as a symbol of peace between Rigel and Sofia, as he united the countries into the one-kingdom of Valentia.

Background
The Falchion is a legendary sword forged by the goddess and divine dragon, Naga. When Naga's children, Mila and Duma, teamed up to face Naga in battle, they were able to deal enough damage to splinter Naga's teeth. These shards of Naga's fangs became the Falchion blades. Although Naga eventually defeated Mila and Duma, and punished them, she gifted them with one of the Falchion blades regardless.
The Falchion was gifted to Duma, who was instructed to keep it safe so that the humans of the continent of Valentia would have a way to defeat Duma and Mila in the case that they go mad. Duma eventually gifted the sword to Emperor Rudolf of Rigel, who used the blade to seal away Mila. As she began to be sealed, she used the last of her power to seal the Falchion along with her.
Many years later, after Emperor Rudolf waged war on the country of Zofia, a young boy named Alm opposed him. Alm, who was secretly Rudolf's son, was implored to find the Falchion and end the rule of Mila and Duma. Alm did so, taking up the Falchion and slaying the gods for good. With the task complete, Alm continued to wield the Falchion as a symbol of peace between Rigel and Zofia, as he united the countries into the one-kingdom of Valentia.
