Background

Shinigami-Sama is the 6th of the 7 Wonder of Kamome Academy.

Shinigami grew up in an Oni village on the top of Mount Ooe and was the slave of one of the Youkai gods named Shuten Douji. The village was known for raiding and destroying human civilzations. The Oni are described as an extremely violent race that want nothing but destruction and to feed on humans for fun. One day, while taking care of his master's garden, Shinigami's entire village was killed by an Exorcist named Minamoto No Torimitsu. Shinigami was spared due to being considered a fluke among the Oni tribe. He was given the name Shinigami and was tasked to do various things under the Minamoto Clan for thousands of years. He would kill, tourture, and destroy people and supernaturals alike under the orders of his master. His main task was to protect and look after the Kannagi's and make sure they don't escape the village before getting sacrificed.

After many centuries, he became the 6th Wonder of Kamome Gakuen Academy and was promted to be one of the protectors of the land of the living and dead. During summer, an event called Urabon in which the border between the living and the supernatural worlds are blurded significantly. Shinigami kidnaped Nene Yashiro's best friend, Aoi Akane, due to her being a descendant of a Kannagi.

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Since he was a child, Shinigami trained under the strongest known Exorcist until he died of old age. He trained after this by fighting supernaturals and youkai. He was able to beat Teru Minamoto, Kou Minamoto, and Akane Aoi in a fight with ease.)
