You like fireworks? I make it a habit to be alone. Always have... That's the path I've chosen. The world I've started to like... Then all of a sudden a whole bunch of people start to butt into my peaceful life with ideas of their own. I'm in love with this, I want to protect that, I want to rise up, I want to reclaim those, I want to redo everything... You can see how that gets on a man's nerves. It's like watching fireworks. But you know, that's helped me realized something... That I'm not just "one," I'm "one of many." My world existed in a box of freedom that was handed to me. So, if you try to change the world according to your plans, but in doing so you affect and are affected by others... How's that any different from what your trying to do!? This world's like one huge-ass firework. How the hell can I miss it?
Ramlethal. You can't define happiness with a single piece of glass. The only wall you're fighting is your doubt. So, I say smash it to bits. Go wherever you want to go.
What is peace? Some people... No. Everyone wants an answer to that question. Why? It's simple. Because no one's ever seen it before. Even if there's no misery before our eyes, we know that it's out there, somewhere. There are hills and valleys, but that doesn't mean we should flatten it all out. Mechanisms that simply prevent inequality take sin away from mankind. We belong neither in the wilderness, nor shut in buildings. We belong somewhere peaceful. Peace comes to be when people forgive each other's sins. When all sin vanishes from the world... That's when peace will vanish too. And the gears that give mankind meaning will stop turning. Is peace just a dream, then? It's not that simple. Just as every human face is different, so too are the worlds we all dream of. Some people are just incompatible. But if there's one thing I know for sure... There's no need to aim for a perfect world. As long as you keep trying, that world will eventually come to you. What matters is that, before that happens... You know the meaning of your life.

~ Sol's monologue at the end of Guilty Gear Strive

You're damn right I will, Axl Low! THE FIRST ROUND'S ON ME!

LET IT OUT!
Time to realize
I don't want to do this anymore
Dead men sympathize
You're living another darker sky
Ride the fire
Born to an errant light
Guns and steel, that's what I am
Ride the fire
Born to another kind
Your time has come
So how you want to go
Let it out
Those doubts will soon concede
Here I go
Let it out
For that's the price you pay
Say your prayers now
Time to recognize
I shall sit here and watch you die in pain
Here I sympathize
For you're living in nothing
Kill me
Ride the fire
Born to an errant light
Wrapped inside, yeah that's my name
Ride the fire
Born to another kind
Your time is now
There's nothing you can do
You might also like
Let it out
I'll make you sacrifice
Count to three
Let it out
Well, here's the chance you take
Now shut your mouth and draw
He came from a man of the world
That were never seen, never heard, never dreamed
We will be down there in hell
Burn to ashes out here in hell this way
Choose your path now
Choose your path now
Choose your path now
Choose your path now
Ride the fire
Born to an errant light
Guns and steel, that's what I am
Ride the fire
Born to another kind
Your time is now
There's nothing you can do
Let it out
Those doubts will soon concede
Here I go
Let it out
For that's the price you pay
For nothing stops me now
Tier:3-B, Higher with Dragon Install. Low 2-B with Adam's Seed | Unknown
Name: Sol Badguy (real name Frederick Bulsara), Flame of Corruption, Immoral Flame, the Prototype Gear, the Guilty Gear, God of War, the Ruthless Striker, Old Man
Alignment:Chaotic Neutral, would become Chaotic Good (Bearing the guilt of working on the Gear Project, humanity's near extinction, Aria's death, and the burden of That Man's betrayal and being a "monster", Sol dedicated himself to eliminating all Gears and to exact his revenge on That Man, roaming the world and keeping everyone at a distance. He was rude and impatient towards those who wish to interact with him, whether they are friend or foe and was also quite stubborn when he is in pursuit of a goal or when he decides to take action regarding certain matters, never allowing the opinions of others to dissuade him once he's made up his mind. While unfriendly, he is not inherently evil either as while he cynically mocks those who speak of "justice", he has demonstrated a staunch sense of righteousness that motivates him to prevent anything that may potentially threaten the world and the peace that's been established after the horror of the Crusades. His clashes with other characters would slowly begin to change his outlook, as does reluctantly taking Sin as his ward and hearing their motivations. In Revelator, Sol admits to Ariels that the world where he kept himself distant to others is worth saving, and finally acknowledges that despite what he is and his fear of the future, he is no longer alone in the world as his own actions and others' affect each other within the world; he compares it to a "huge firework he can't miss")
