Background
Gaston is the main antagonist in Disney's 2017 Beauty and the Beast. Gaston is strong and handsome and is all too aware of this. He is hailed as a local hero, desired by many of the young women of his village (he is even described as “cute, dreamy and handsome”) but he is really boorish, uncultured and egotistical.
