Background

Elena is a minor antagonist, turned supporting protagonist of the Final Fantasy VII series. As a member of the highly-classified Turks, Elena has been expertly trained, though she initially didn't want to join. Extremely professional and dedicated to her job, Elena often butts heads with Reno, who tends to be far more light-hearted than her.

Elena is the younger sister of Emma, who was once a Turk herself. Elena, having a strong distaste for her sister, vowed to never join the Turks, though ironically she found herself becoming one many years down the line. Although Elena started out as an opposing force to Cloud Strife and his party, their similar goal of saving the planet brought her to the same side.
