- Casual killer: He spoke openly about killing his opponents, treating it as a necessity rather than a last resort, with no moral hesitation.
- Skewed priorities: He often prioritized pursuing attractive women over protecting innocents and had a particular difficulty fighting attractive female supervillains, feeling compelled to kill them.
- Cause for concern: His impulses and lack of restraint caused the NSA to classify him under close "A Level" monitoring.
- Picky habits: Beyond his dangerous tendencies, he also displayed trivial quirks such as being a notoriously selective eater.

Misconceptions
Gamma Jack is a Villain
This is a popular misconception that spawns from the NSA File's mentions of his personality, which says that he is prone to tyrannical/megalomaniacal impulses and believes supers to be "a superior race"[33] and that the NSA Recommends close monitoring on him[34], however, Gamma Jack is never actually mentioned to be a villain in any of the medium, he's still considered a "superhero", though he is definitely not an altruistic or morally good one.
Gamma Jack is a pillar of power who stood shoulder to shoulder with Mr. Incredible and Gazerbeam
This is a quote used by many however this is never once said in any official media of The Incredibles or any of the guidebooks. If anything, going by stats in the NSA Files, there is not a single stat[35] he has over Mr. Incredible[36].
Gamma Jack and Homelander Similarities
There are many that try and say Gamma Jack is like the fake superhero Homelander from The Boys, however this is not remotely the case, Homelander is a truly evil being that has murdered children and assaulted whoever he pleased while abusing his power, Gamma Jack on the other hand has shown racist tendencies and megalomaniacal impulses, he has never truly delivered on them and has only killed villains[37]. While there could be some similarities to pick up between them, they are really not the same.
