Background

Sushie is Mario's seventh party member in Paper Mario. She is a Cheep Cheep residing in Yoshi's Village on Lavalava Island.

Her pause menu description states that she "loves romantic stories and cries at the drop of a fin", implying that she is very sensitive and soft-hearted. However, according to the Yoshi children, she is very bossy. Her name is based on the famous Japanese dish.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Water Manipulation & Statistics Amplification (With Squirt, Water Block, and Tidal Wave. These allow Sushie to shoot water at an enemy to harm them, create a block of water to raise defense, or create a massive wave to harm all enemies), Acausality (Irregular Causality; Bowser used the Star Rod to change the story itself.
