Background
Supernatural Protection is the ability to be protected by another or higher source. At times it could be a deity but other times it can be a powerful mortal, an object, an abstract concept, the users own mental dimension, etcetera. Users have something that protects them adding different kinds of amplifications or blessings depending on the situation. Some manipulate the users destiny allowing them to win fights as an example. There may be also cases where the user becomes unkillable or be granted a resistance. The user is essentially protected by another being, source, concept, or object, who can make them completely unable to die in certain scenarios.
Applications
- Supernatural Protection: As noted above protection of this sort is normally not from a deity but rather from another source with supernatural abilities.
- Divine Protection: Protection from a deity or divine source, usually of holy regard and normally grants blessings.
Limitations
- If their amplifications and blessings comes from the higher source, the defeat of said higher source will cause them to lose both.
- The higher source may not be able to interfere in certain cases.
Users
- Ness (Earthbound): Ness is protected by the Universal System, a system that flows the destiny of all beings including Ness.
- Hat Kid (A Hat in Time): Hat Kid is protected by The Snatcher, a being that will continually revive her if she dies or make a challenge easier for her if she dies too much.
