Background
Bruford is a secondary antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood. He is a knight who originally he served Mary Stuart alongside Tarkus. He was killed by Elizbeth I when he gave his life to save Mary. However before he was killed he was shown that Mary had been killed and that he will die for nothing filling Bruford with rage against humanity. Three hundred years later he and Tarkus would be resurrected as zombies by Dio Brando who they would swear their loyalty to.
