Background

Ashley J. Williams is the main protagonist and hero of The Evil Dead film franchise, along with its TV series.

During 1982, Ashley Williams with her girlfriend Linda, her sister Cheryl, and her friends Scott and Shelly went to spend the weekend in a mysterious cabin in the woods. However, what appears to be a quiet weekend turns into a bloodbath when Ash finds the Necronomicon Ex Mortis, the Book of the Dead, and accidentally ends up freeing the Kandarian Demon, who ends up possessing Ash's friends, which forces the latter to kill them to survive.

The next day, Ash tries to escape from the cabin, however, the bridge back home had been destroyed, forcing Ash to stay one more night in the cabin. It is in these moments that the head of his possessed girlfriend bites his hand, forcing Ash to cut it off to stop the infection.

When Annie Knowby realizes what is happening, she is together with Ash devising a plan to defeat the Kandarian Demon, where Ash ends up donning a chainsaw as a prosthesis.

But unfortunately, Ash teleports back to 1300 AD. C. where realizes that he is the chosen one, the hero fallen from heaven prophesied to free the world from evil. This is where Ash fights the army of darkness, led by his evil copy, Evil Ash, whom Ash had accidentally awakened after mispronouncing a passage from the Necronomicon. After winning the battle, Ash would return when given a sleeping position until he woke up in due time from him.

30 years later, Ash awakens to evil when he reads Necronomicon on drugs, forcing him to face evil again with Pablo and Kelly.
