Background

Absorption is the ability to absorb something, be it energy or other living things, and use it for oneself. This ability has many potential applications and forms such as power attacks, healing, and even the acquisition of new abilities through something absorbed.

Applications

• Biological Absorption: The user can absorb biological mass/matter, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, knowledge, skills, etcetera, using it as power source etcetera, either temporarily or permanently.
• Energy Absorption: The user can absorb various forms of energy, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage. Either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etcetera, either temporarily or permanently.
• Power Absorption: The user not only copies the abilities of others but also steals them for one's own use, thus depriving the original holder of his powers while having access to more.
• Soul Absorption: The user can absorb souls, while removing them from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as a power source, etcetera, either temporarily or permanently.
• Life-Force Absorption: The user can absorb life-force/energy, vitality and health, while removing it from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etcetera, either temporarily or permanently.
• Mind Absorption: The user can absorb minds, while removing them from the source, into their body and use it in various ways, gaining some form of advantage, either by enhancing themselves, gaining the drained power, using it as power source etcetera, either temporarily or permanently.
• Conceptual Absorption: The user can absorb concepts, being able to fuse with them and become the concept of something or become an abstract being.
• Space-Time Absorption: The user can absorb space-time, and different aspect sof reality itself, being able to essentially become one with space-time in some scenarios.

Users

• Ness (EarthBound): Ness upon learning his destiny, absorbs the entirety of magicant into himself getting a massive stat increase.
• Kirby (Kirby): Kirby with his fabled inhale ability is able to absorb his opponents and steal their abilities from it.
• Mario (Super Mario Bros.): Mario has displayed multiple cases of being able to absorb such as, absorbing paint from people and objects, and absorbing people and gaining powers from it.
• Asriel Dreemurr (Undertale): Asriel Dreemurr absorbed every monsters SOUL in the underground to achieve his new form.
