Background

Padmé Naberrie (publicly known as Padmé Amidala and secretly known as Padmé Naberrie Skywalker after her marriage) was a female politician and figurehead of the planet of Naboo, with intelligence so prodigious that she was elected Queen of Naboo at only 14 years old. While serving as Queen, Padmé was constantly put in harms way by the Trade Federation; at one point even being blockaded on Naboo, with Jedi needing to be sent out to rescue her.

Saved by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Padmé was to be escorted to the planet of Coruscant in order to make the Galactic Senate aware of the Trade Federation's blockade. However, during their escape, their ship was attacked and left stranded on the desert planet of Tatooine. There, Padmé met a boy around her age named Anakin Skywalker who, unbeknownst to her, would soon become an extremely important part of her life. Anakin was taken with Padmé to Coruscant in order to be trained as a Jedi, and the two were separated for ten long years.

Padmé's term as Queen eventually came to an end, although she served so well that the people of Naboo insisted on amending the constitution in order to keep her in office. Instead, Padmé settled with becoming a Senator instead, and made a name for herself in a much different way. She was so influential, in fact, that the Trade Federation decided to try and assassinate her.

Because of the assassinate attempt, a much older Anakin Skywalker was appointed to be her personal protector, and safeguard her on Naboo. Whilst there, Anakin and Padmé spent an incredible amount of time together, soon falling deeply in love. Although both knew it was forbidden by both the Jedi Council and the Senate, they secretly married one another. Keeping the secret of their marriage would become the forefront of their lives, well into the Clone Wars.

Nearly three years past, and Padmé soon discovered that she was pregnant with Anakin's child. Although the two were elated, they were also very scared. Tormented by visions of Padmé dying in childbirth, Anakin was driven to the Dark Side in an attempt to find a way to prevent that future. Extremely stressed by the dark deeds that Anakin enacted in her name, Padmé confronted him on Mustafar, only to lead to him lashing out and choking her with the Force.

Although she was rescued by Obi-Wan Kenobi, the unsurmountable levels of stress put on her by Anakin, along with the stresses of birthing twins, became far too much for Padmé to handle. After giving birth to the twins, Luke and Leia, Padmé was overcome by her stress and loss of a will to live, and died. With her final words, Padmé promised that there was still good in Anakin.

Even at 14 years old, she could outwit those thrice her age and experience in the political scene. Her intelligence has only increased with age, and she is constantly seen being the level-head on Anakin Skywalker's shoulders)

Weaknesses: Is extremely headstrong, rushing into dangerous situations without much thought or care. This, more often than not, has lead to her running head-first into capture or defeat.
