Background

Dart Feld is the main protagonist of The Legend of Dragoon. As the son of Claire Feld and the legendary Dragoon, Zieg Feld, Dart was seemingly orphaned when a mysterious force known as the Black Monster attacked and burned-down his hometown of Neet. On his own and with nothing but the Red-Eyed Dragoon Spirit left behind by his father, Dart was raised in Seles alongside a girl named Shana.

Dart eventually left Seles without word, determined to find and slay the Black Monster, out of a pure sense of revenge for the death of his parents. He has a strong sense of justice and hates anything that is not fair and honest. Although he is still young and makes mistakes, his faithful actions attract others, allowing for him to be a good leader to the Dragoons.

Is capable of defeating warriors such as Lloyd, who is described as being a sword master even in the eyes of a seasoned fighter, with swordsmanship skills that are humanely impossible to achieve.
