Background

Choso is a supporting antagonist and later an ally of Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen. He and his two brothers, Kechizu and Eso are Cursed Womb: Death Paintings who have sided with Mahito's group.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Martial Arts, Regeneration (Low-Mid. Should be capable of regenerating lost limbs like his younger brother Eso, when making contact with an external blood source), Enhanced Senses (Can see cursed spirits that are invisible to the human eye), Energy Manipulation, Statistics Amplification (Sorcerers and curses can amplify their physical power by flowing magic power through their bodies via negative emotions. Flowing Red Scale amplifies his physicals while Stack further amplifies them), Non-Physical Interaction (Can interact with curses, who are abstract manifestations born out of people's thoughts, mind and negative emotions), Blood Manipulation (Can control the blood flowing through his body beyond it's form or motion, his abilities with the blood is changing of body temperature, pulse rate, the number of blood cells and blood composition), Poison Manipulation (Has poison mixed in with his blood attacks), Limited Power Nullification (His blood can incapacitate a cursed technique), Weapon Creation (Can create weapons such as a knife, when manipulating and rotating blood at high speeds. Standard Tactics: Choso will fight at long range and push his opponents back at effective range to us techniques such as Piercing Blood against them. If his opponents try to close in on him, he will use techniques such as Supernova to catch them off guard. If he were to fight someone in hand to hand combat, he will amplify his physicals with Flowing Red Scale and Flowing Red Scale: Stacked and overwhelm his opponent.

Weaknesses: Being exposed to large amounts of water can make him unable to manipulate blood outside of his body and hardening blood within his body can potentially lead him to getting thrombosis.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Cursed Energy (Juryoku?): A power source aligned with negative emotions used by sorcerers and curses to fuel their jujutsu.

• Blood Manipulation (赤血操術 Sekketsu Sōjutsu?): Choso's Innate Technique allows him to manipulate his own blood. As stated by Choso, due to Noritoshi Kamo having mixed in his own blood into his mother while pregnant with him during his experiments on her, Choso's innate technique is in fact the inherited technique of the Kamo Family.
  • Slicing Exorcism (苅祓 Karibarai?): Choso releases a stream of blood that is capable of slicing through human bodies.
  • Convergence (百斂 Byakuren?): A technique that compresses and condenses the blood to its limit.
  • Piercing Blood (穿血 Senketsu?): Choso claps his hands together and fires a stream of blood from the tip of his fingers. As observed by Noritoshi Kamo, Choso's version of this technique is incredibly powerful with an immense amount of pressure focused into his shots, shown when he used it against Uraume. Choso can also use this technique to inject his poisonous blood into his opponents.
  • Supernova (超新星 Chōshinsei?): After using Convergence to create multiple small orbs of blood, Choso has the orbs shoot out in every direction like a buckshot.
  • Blood Edge (血刃 Ketsujin?): Choso shapes and strengthens his blood's lethality by rotating it at a high speed.
  • Flowing Red Scale (赤鱗躍動 Sekirin Yakudō?): Choso manipulates the blood in his body, including the temperature, pulse rate, the number of red blood cells, and its composition, so that he can increase his body's speed and power. Two vertical lines appear over each of his eyes when this technique is activated.
  • Flowing Red Scale: Stack (赤鱗躍動・載 Sekirin Yakudō・Sai?): Choso intensifies Flowing Red Scale in order to increase his body's capabilities to an even higher degree than normally.
  • Blood Meteorite (血星磊 Kesseiseki?): Choso hardens some of his blood and throws it at his target.
