Background

Boyfriend is the protagonist of Friday Night Funkin'. He is on a mission to gain approval to date his Girlfriend, but must sing-off against her father Daddy Dearest and many other characters that stand in his way.

Including dead people, spirits, demons, and monsters, and people from far distances), Possession (Wasn't possessed by the Spirit), Mind Manipulation (Was stated to not be able to be hypnotized or mindcontrolled into not loving Girlfriend.)

Implied to have just started learning how to beatbox week 1)

Weaknesses: If he’s beaten in a rap he will have his bones shatter. Though this is only a weakness in-verse as this is a specific ability all users share.

Note: The reason the Boyfriend is scaled through rap battles is that rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin', even characters that clearly wants to kill/possess him no longer can after the rap battle is over. The husband also is one of the people that wants him dead as he directly sent a bounty hunter after him. It’s also shown the loss of a rap battle breaks the Boyfriend’s bones. Showing losing a rap battle does more than just simply end it. Thus rap battles should be fine to use for scaling. There's also implications of more going on in rap battles too.

Note 2: Normally lightning feats like this wouldn’t work but the reason this one is usable is that Girlfriend and Boyfriend react to the lightning the exact frame it strikes, before the sound even goes off.

Note 3: It has been essentially stated by ninjamuffin that mods are canon, due to this we have set it so we can reasonably tier the mods side of Friday Night Funkin' without it becoming an incoherent scaling mess of unreasonably high statistics. Mods are allowed if they have their own week, have cutscenes, their own song charts, and have lore behind them. This means that character replacements, or a character replacing another character on a week are not allowed.
