Background

Garrus Vakarian is a turian, formerly part of C-Sec's Investigation Division. Like most turians, Garrus had his military training at fifteen, but later followed in his father's footsteps to become a C-Sec officer. He was responsible for the investigation of Saren Arterius, the Council's top Spectre, after the Alliance claimed Saren had gone rogue. Although Garrus was told that the investigation was over, he decided to defy the Executor's order and pursue another lead on his own. Eventually, Garrus attempts to join Commander Shepard's team to help defeat Saren and the geth.

Attack Potency: Small Building level (Comparable to Commander Shepard, who could trade blows with the Shadow Broker, who could smash a large metal table), Varies from Wall level+ with assault rifles (Slugs fired by mass accelerator weaponry can reduce large chunks of rock wall to rubble in a couple dozen rounds as demonstrated by the YMIR mech) to Small Building level with sniper rifles and heavy pistols (Can destroy rocks with this amount of force), City Block level+ with high explosive rounds/grenades (Can incinerate entire human sized masses)

Survived gunfire and a rocket from a gunship, which can blast apart the support pillars of a large temple and blast large rock apart), City Block level with kinetic barriers (Kinetic barriers are capable of repelling weaker biotic attacks and grenade explosions)

Stamina: Superhuman (He does countless missions to save the galaxy and with only a few short periods of rest. Able to hold off 3 mercenary bands on Omega for an entire day by himself)

He has also been capable of moving outside of the Citadel in a zero-gravity environment, fight along the exterior of the Shadow Broker's ship where foes detached from the ship immediately go flying, and fight and move in the heretics' base which has little air or gravity. He can also survive the heat of the Collector base vents)

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Garrus is one of the most skilled turian soldiers in the galaxy who's a proficient sniper, a perceptive investigator, a natural leader on par with Commander Shepard, and excellent strategist. His skill was enough to consider him a candidate for the spectres, agents who are entrusted with extraordinary authority by the Citadel Council, including the power of life and death over the inhabitants of the galaxy, and promoted to having his own squad to counter the Reapers by Mass Effect 3. During the timeskip between Mass Effect 1 and 2, he managed to become a vigilante known as Archangel and was able to terrorize the criminals of Omega for over a year with only a band of 12 mercenaries at his back. He was enough of a threat to them that it took the combined force of the 3 strongest gangs on Omega to pin him down with a trap. Garrus is also a genius tech expert, as he could greatly enhance the capabilities of the Normandy's main gun and outperformed Legion, an AI with the processing power of over a thousand Geth minds working together simultaneously, in calibrations, with Legion even considering it beyond impossible)

Standard Tactics: Garrus will take cover and exploit both his environment and his opponent's weaknesses with either his weaponry or tech.

Weaknesses: Kinetic barriers are activated based on the speed of an attack. A melee attack is not fast enough to set it off. In addition, the shielding afforded by kinetic barriers does not protect against extremes of temperature, toxins, or radiation.

• Overload: Damages kinetic shields and barriers.
• Sabotage: Overheat enemy weapons and sythetics so they can no longer fire.
• Damping: Temporarily disables enemy's biotic/tech abilities for a short time.
