Background
Cuphead is the 2D sidescrolling run-and-gun video game developed by brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer as Studio MDHR, drawn in the style of 1930s cartoons released on Sept. 29, 2017 for Xbox One and PC. The story revolves around protagonists, Cuphead and Mugman, who accidentally sell their souls to the Devil at the casino. fortunately for the two, the Devil desides to have Cuphead and Mugman collect the contracts of all the Inkwell Isle Debtors in twenty-four hours.
Power of the Verse
The verse is rather lacking in raw power, with most of the characters, after Inkwell Isle One and Two, peaking at High 8-C. They make up for this with the Cartoon Physics based around early cartoons, giving most of the characters Shapeshifting, Transformation, Elasticity, Immortality and Regeneration. Cuphead, Mugman, and Ms. Chalice also have a variety of projectiles and "charms" at their exposal to give them more diversity in combat.
