I PURGE THE WICKED

THE IMPIOUS MADNESS MUST END

I SHALL BE THE INSTRUMENT OF ARMAGEDDON

IT HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND

THE END HAS BEGUN

GOODNIGHT, HANK.
~ Jebus before mercy-killing Hank

Summary

Jebediah Christoff, also called Jesus or Jebus, is one of the main characters of Madness Combat. In the animated series he works in tandem with the AAHW to stop Hank J. Wimbleton from murdering others. When the Sheriff dies and the Auditor takes over operations, Jesus turns on the AAHW and begins killing its members, saying that they are wicked and must die. Jesus suffers from cognitive dissonance which allows him to brutally harm others as long as he thinks he's in the right. He, along with other characters like Hank and Tricky, gets the attention of the Higher Powers via his murders and strength. The Higher Powers heal and resurrect him upon death so that the madness may continue for their entertainment.

Powers and Stats

Tier: High 8-C

Name: Jebediah Christoff, Jesus, Jebus, Jeb, Dr. Christoff, the Savior

Origin: Madness Combat

Age: Unknown

Sex: None (There are no men, women, or children in Nevada; only monsters), referred to as male

Classification: Nevadean/Grunt with a Savior Complex

Status: Deceased (Killed in Madness 8: Inundation and Krinkles states that he has "went the way of the Sheriff", meaning he isn't coming back)

Alignment: Chaotic Good (Unlike the other characters, Jebediah despises all the madness in Nevada and seeks to end it all, even activating the normality restoration, which disengages the improbability drive's effects. However, his idea of what's good and right are a bit skewed and he isn't nearly the hero he makes himself out to be)

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Large Building level+ (Fought against Hank J. Wimbleton numerous times, who is stronger than both Sanford and Deimos, who survived a building falling on top of them)

Durability: Large Building level+

Striking Strength: Large Building level+

Lifting Strength: Class 1 (Comparable to Hank J. Wimbleton)

Travel Speed: Superhuman (Can fly this fast)

Combat Speed: FTL (Able to tag agents who can react to any ranged weapon in Project Nexus, which includes a laser gun that shoots light)

Reaction Speed: FTL

Stamina: Extremely High

Range: Standard Melee Range, Extended Melee Range (with katana), Hundreds of Meters to Kilometers (with firearms), Low Multiverse level with the Halo (Made for interaction between Nevada and the Other Place)

Intelligence: Genius (Former scientist founding Project Nexus. Able to quickly assemble and disassemble a sniper rifle)

Powers and Abilities

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Human Achievements (Head scientist of Nexus City, founding Project Nexus), Martial Arts, Dimensional Storage (Able to store items in between realities), Telekinesis and Body Control (Floating Limbs is an actual thing for Grunts, preventing things such as having an arm ripped off), Statistics Amplification, Perception Manipulation, and Afterimage Creation (Bullet time increases his speed and slows his perception of time, creating afterimages), Healing (Bandages in Project Nexus heal the user), Empowerment (Ecstasy is an empowering emotion in Nevada, which is why Hank is superior to both Sanford and Deimos), Explosion Manipulation via Rocket Launchers and Grenades, Reality Warping, Matter Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, and Radiation Manipulation with dissonance weapons (Dissonant Energy is a radiation that distorts logic and the minds of whoever perceives it, being able to deconstruct matter), Acrobatics (Able to wall jump), Genius Intelligence, Weapon Usage, Flight, Immortality (Types 4 and 6: The Halo resurrects Jebediah as long as it is active and Jebediah is shown to survive without his scalp), Forcefield Creation and Attack Reflection (Able to create barriers that block bullets and can deflect them), Electricity Manipulation (Offensively), Necromancy (Able to revive the dead to fight for him), Teleportation (Able to teleport in and out of combat), Telekinesis (Able to move around objects such as dead bodies, Hank, roofs, zombies, and crates), Resistance to Madness Manipulation (Adapted to the maddening environment of Nevada), Probability Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation, Physics Manipulation, Transmutation, and Reality Warping (The Improbability Drive gives control over improbability in order to cause things to happen, and it doesn't affect Jebediah despite affecting those around him. When active, it changes gravity repeatedly and breaks the laws of physics, on one occasion creating falling whales and giant marshmallows in the sky before turning the sun itself into a normal grunt. Its power could also shift an entire building), Pain (The weakest beings of Nevada feel lots of pain and yet they still appear unaffected), Mind Manipulation and Trauma (Nevada generally doesn't have much humanity; there are no women, no children, no men - just monsters. As time goes on the entropy of Nevada just increases due to the sheer madness), limited Empathic Manipulation (Relationships aren't really a thing in Nevada), and Fear Manipulation (Fear isn't a powerful motivator in Nevada)

Standard Equipment

Nexus Artifact, Katana, Pistol, Sniper Rifle, Revolver

Others

Standard Tactics: Jesus typically leads with using zombies first. If he has to fight, at farther ranges he'll use firearms, then his katana up close along with a mixture of telekinesis, teleportation, flight, barriers, erasure, shockwaves and attack reflection.

Weaknesses: If he smokes a cigarette he'll shortly die a violent death afterward. Isn't blessed by the higher powers, but rather by the Halo, as shown how he permanently died at the end of episode 8 due to it breaking.
