Yū (Animal Crossing)

Background

is one of the main characters in Gekijōban Doubutsu no Mori, being the only male human. He appears to be a reference to how in the Animal Crossing series games, a player can connect through Wi-Fi, so players from other towns can come visit their town. He does not live in Animal Village, but visits often, as he loves to play with Alfonso by competing for collectibles such as fossils and bugs.

He also shown to care deeply for people as shown when he takes initiative to help rescue stranded Gulliver by collecting one of his missing U.F.O. parts.)

  • Lantern: A lantern that yū brought with him to go explore a cave with his friends.
  • Pitfall Seed: A white colored ball with a red exclamation mark that when burried and walked upon, the walker will fall into a pit deep enough that it can't be climb out off without being acrobatic.
  • Costumes: yū has access to numerous costumes as seen through out the movie, inculding a Ninja, Bunny, Luchadore, pirate, Caveman, Samurai Wig and Groucho Glasses and Afro.

Standard Tactics: yū never fought before, making him a wildcard.

Weaknesses: yū is rather gullible being easily tricked by Redd into believing a slingshot would give him 100% accuracy. yū can also be rather reckless seen as when he attempted to rush into a crumbling cave.
