Background
Binding is the ability to physically, mentally, or spiritually restrain a target. This ability can prevent the target from moving, accessing their powers, or escaping from a designated area. Binding is commonly associated with various forms of magic, psionics, or physical constructs such as chains, ropes, or barriers. In many depictions, bindings can also extend to sealing an entity's essence, memories, or capabilities, rendering them unable to act or function until the binding is removed. The strength and complexity of bindings vary depending on the user's skill and power. Advanced users may bind cosmic entities or entire regions, while less experienced individuals may only restrain weaker targets or for shorter durations.
