Aubrey is one of the three deuteragonists in OMORI that likes to play with Omori, Kel, and Hero in headspace and at its playground. One day when they went to Basil's house to see his flowers and photo album, he mysteriously disappeared. She then joined up with her friends to help find and rescue their missing friend, exploring the entirety of Headspace to do so and meeting many new faces along the journey both friend and foe. AUBREY was born to her unnamed parents in the same year as SUNNY and BASIL. She grew up in her family home, though it is implied that her living conditions may have been poor. She first met HERO, KEL, MARI, and SUNNY when they found her crying on the sidewalk after she lost her shoe. The group quickly became friends, and she later introduced BASIL to them. The six friends shared many memorable moments together, including playing cards in a treehouse, visiting the beach, having picnics, playing in the rain, and celebrating BASIL's birthday. She and BASIL sold cookies and lemonade during the summer to save money, and she joined the others in pooling their funds to buy SUNNY an expensive violin for Christmas. On the day of SUNNY and MARI's recital, AUBREY and her father were preparing to attend the performance that evening. However, upon returning home, they learned that MARI had died, and the official belief was that she had taken her own life. In the months that followed, the group began to drift apart. SUNNY and BASIL became more withdrawn, KEL made new friends through sports, and HERO was constantly occupied with his studies. AUBREY felt abandoned and angry that everyone seemed to be moving on while she was still grieving. After SUNNY stopped attending school, she noticed BASIL eating lunch alone and asked if he would like to study together at his house. He initially seemed hesitant, but after she insisted, he agreed. The walk was silent, and BASIL avoided looking at her. When they arrived at his room, she tried to start a conversation, but he excused himself to the bathroom. Left alone, she noticed his PHOTO ALBUM on the shelf. Upon opening it, she found several photographs defaced with marker. She assumed BASIL was responsible, though it had actually been SUNNY. She took the album and began calling BASIL names, and soon others followed suit. From that point on, she distanced herself from everyone. She dyed her hair pink, befriended KIM, and became the leader of the local delinquent group known as THE HOOLIGANS, always carrying a nail bat. She also began attending church services regularly, seeking some form of peace. THREE DAYS LEFT After learning that AUBREY took BASIL's PHOTO ALBUM, SUNNY and KEL set out to track her down. They question each member of the HOOLIGANS across FARAWAY TOWN, getting into fights along the way, before being told she is at CHURCH. They confront her there and demand the return of BASIL's album, leading to another fight. KEL questions her about the theft, and the argument grows heated. AUBREY repeatedly asks why they are re-entering her life, making it clear she wants to keep them at a distance. Realizing that explaining herself is pointless, she fights them again. The battle ends when the churchgoers begin gossiping about her past, causing AUBREY to run off in tears. She later throws out the photo album, forcing SUNNY and KEL to dig through the trash to recover it—though some photos are missing. Despite her cold demeanor and efforts to push everyone away, she still cares for her old friends, having carefully washed the black marker off the photos they shared together until they were clean. TWO DAYS LEFT The HOOLIGANS eventually leave, tired of constantly picking on BASIL, leaving AUBREY alone with her old friends. She becomes emotionally overwhelmed and angrily demands to know why they keep coming back into her life. BASIL tries to reach out to her, but she accidentally pushes him into the lake. Her anger appears to stem from the photographs, as she still believes BASIL was responsible for defacing them. AUBREY instantly regrets what she did and panics as KEL yells at her. Concerned BASIL might drown, KEL tells SUNNY to jump in and rescue him, but SUNNY is unable to fully save him. HERO arrives just in time and pulls both SUNNY and BASIL to safety. Once SUNNY regains consciousness, the group decides to take BASIL home to recover. AUBREY asks where they are going, but KEL bluntly tells her she has already caused enough harm. The group leaves, and AUBREY is left alone once more. ONE DAY LEFT They climb the ladder to her room, and she becomes angry at their presence. However, HERO manages to calm her down and encourages her to open up. She has a heartfelt conversation with the group, reconciles with everyone, and apologizes for her behavior. They discover the missing photos—all featuring MARI—on her corkboard, and she admits she kept them because they are all she has left of her. They return the photos to the PHOTO ALBUM, and she agrees to join the group. For the rest of the day, AUBREY spends time with everyone, visiting familiar spots around town and eventually going to their old treehouse. She leaves her pink pinwheel in the stump of the tree where MARI was found and begins opening up about her emotions. She apologizes for blaming them for not being there and starts to accept the past. She also explains why she has been angry at BASIL. The group then goes to BASIL's house. Although he refuses to open the door or speak to anyone, AUBREY sincerely apologizes to him. They all decide to stay overnight to celebrate SUNNY's last day in FARAWAY TOWN. Before falling asleep in the living room, HERO, KEL, and AUBREY reassure SUNNY that life will get better even after he moves, reminding him that they will always carry him in their hearts. They share a heartfelt conversation before drifting off to sleep. NEUTRAL ENDINGS He heads to the hallway and finds his friends and POLLY in a state of grief. AUBREY is kneeling on the floor, her expression empty and tears streaming down her face, overcome with guilt for the years she spent tormenting BASIL. When spoken to, she desperately pleads for BASIL's forgiveness, believing her actions played a major part in his decision to end his life. She remains unaware of the deeper truths that contributed to BASIL's depression and eventual death. With no other course of action, SUNNY leaves his grieving friends behind without ever revealing the truth behind MARI's death. GOOD ENDING Following a final internal confrontation with OMORI, SUNNY regains consciousness in his hospital bed, crying, with a bandage over his right eye. He has finally come to terms with MARI's death. He limps out of his room and, on his way to BASIL's room, sees visions of his HEADSPACE friends and STRANGER one last time. When he arrives, AUBREY is standing beside BASIL's hospital bed alongside KEL and HERO. The group notices SUNNY at the doorway, and he prepares to tell them the truth about what happened to MARI. The scene cuts to the credits, leaving the friends' reactions to the viewer's imagination. |

PERSONALITY

- Easily Sad and Worried: Aubrey became sad and worried quite easily, such as being the most anxious when Basil went missing. She was often clumsy, resulting in yelling from Kel, who she always fought with. She was very emotional when something bad happened and occasionally too hard on herself.

- Short-Tempered and Violent in the REAL WORLD: After Mari's death, Aubrey coped through hatred against her old friend group, feeling lonely from the lack of support. She became short-tempered and violent, taking bursts out on others, with Basil being one of the main victims through THE HOOLIGANS. She was cold and hostile to her old friends at first, not afraid to fight them. She tried to find peace by praying at the local church.
- More Understanding and Civil Later: After reuniting with Sunny, Hero, and Kel, Aubrey became more understanding of the past and people's feelings, becoming civil and open about her feelings. She expressed care for Sunny's physical health and apologized to Basil.

After Sunny stopped coming to school, she went to Basil who sat alone during lunch and asked him if he wanted to study together at his house. He was uneasy about it at first but after she begged him, he agreed. When Basil went to the bathroom, she found his old Photo Album on his bookshelf. When she opened it, she had found some of the photographs scribbled with marker, and assumed it was Basil who did so, even though it was actually Sunny. She then stole his Photo Album and called him names as well as insulted him, which also eventually caused others to call him names. Ever since then, she cut herself off from everyone. Later on, she became the leader of the Hooligans who caused trouble in Faraway Town but they are actually good hearted people when known better as noted by Kel. Despite fighting Sunny and Kel along with pushing Basil into a lake, this is all due to being troubled by Mari's death years later. She has gone to church for Mari to bring peace to her mind and died her hair pink as Mari told her it would look nice. She still cared for Sunny and her friends as she still went to their old hide out spot with her new friends, kept Basil's old Photo Album and pictures with Mari, and refused to harm Sunny and Kel at all with her bat. On the last day before Sunny moved, she made up with all her old friends and went to sleep at Basil's house as he was very troubled at the time and would not come out of his room) | Chaotic Good | Chaotic Neutral (Aubrey is a cheerful and happy girl who is there to support Omori when he has to conquer his fears and traveled throughout headspace along with Omori, Kel, and Hero just to rescue her missing friend Basil. It then proceeded to haunt them for the next 4 years until they finally overcame it and revealed the truth. If they don't overcome it, Something follows Sunny and likely haunts him for the rest of his life as he moves away along with it making Basil commit suicide. Blackspace is where all of Sunny's trauma and guilt is hidden away and a showing of his unstable mental health. Something can be found in the pathway to it and within Blackspace's doors as well. - Fate Protection and Reliance (Reliance [On Person], Partial; She also exists as long as Sunny exists in the real world, and even when Headspace is reset by Omori. It is stated that every character gets replaced and born anew every time the cycle of headspace that is fated to happen repeats. It also says the Truth is being sought out again. Basil always ends up finding the truth with Mari helping Omori reach it, but Omori ends up blocking it so it is not revealed by repeating the cycle from the start. Stranger directly mentions the cycle and wants to end it and it is stated that this is not the first time Omori is saving Basil, the entire reason of the journey and Stranger says that he has been in Blackspace before. Stranger also says the cycle is due to Sunny running away from the truth. It is also stated that the headspace events of Omori have happened before multiple times here. There have also been multiple Aubreys at once. There are even past times where she has died and has been replaced with a new body which is also explained here. Aubrey attacks with her headbutts and standard attacks, she can use her bat to threaten, but it is not in her morality to severely harm someone with it unless absolutely needed.
Aubrey attacks with her Nailed Bat and uses any items if needed.
Aubrey attacks both physically and with her several weapons. She also attacks with several skills which can make opponents feel specific emotions along with dealing big damage. She can also use her several snacks and toys to her advantage. If she is with her team, she would put her teamwork to best use, using follow ups and working together to defeat a foe with her friends.
Weaknesses: Can be hotheaded at times. Some of her attacks deal damage to herself. Emotions in OMORI follow a rock paper scissor system where Sad is weak to Angry, Angry is weak to Happy, and Happy is weak to Sad.
