Awakening
From The Codex
Background
Awakening is an ability that activates that triggers a burst of power due to various circumstance. In this state the user is far more powerful and faster then they were before, can potentially obtain entirely new powers or copy abilities. Unlike Rage Power or Berserk Mode, this state can be triggered through any means and is in some cases permanent. Along with this, the user is also at times still in full control and not blinded by rage or hatred.
Users
- Son Goku (Dragon Ball): After seeing his best friend Krillin die at the hands of Frieza, a rage awakened within Goku that allowed him to achieve the legendary super saiyan transformation.
- Ness (MOTHER 2): After his journey through magicant and realizing his destiny, Ness absorbed it into himself along with the power of earth recieving a massive boost in power.
- Samus Aran (Metroid): Samus has shown various different states of awakening, the most recent one being her awakening against Ravenblade, that allowed her to aquire the Metroid Suit.
