Glamrock Freddy, also referred to simply as Freddy Fazbear, is the glamrock version of Freddy Fazbear and appears in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. He serves as the deuteragonist and acts as an ally to Gregory, the main playable protagonist. He is the only animatronic in the pizzaplex that remains uncorrupted by Vanny's influence. Unlike other versions of Freddy, Glamrock Freddy actively works to protect and assist the player throughout the game.

Background

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Glamrock Freddy’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!

Glamrock Freddy serves as the lead singer of the Glamrock band and takes part in the Faz-Blast attraction alongside the other Glamrock animatronics. The area functions as a laser tag arena featuring large cutouts of Glamrock Freddy, Montgomery Gator, Glamrock Chica, and Roxanne Wolf.

Unlike previous versions of Freddy, Glamrock Freddy takes on a supporting role by assisting Gregory in hiding from Vanny and the other animatronics. At the start of the game, he suffers a breakdown and shuts down mid performance. When he wakes up not fully charged, he discovers Gregory hiding inside his chest hatch to escape the security guard Vanessa, who is actually Vanny in disguise.

Throughout the game, Gregory can hide inside Freddy's torso to avoid the other animatronics, but only for a limited time. If Freddy's battery runs out while Gregory is inside, he will malfunction and cause Gregory's death. Gregory can recharge Freddy at Recharging Stations.

Gregory can also upgrade Freddy in Parts and Service after being brought there by the Daycare Attendant. Upgrades include Roxy's eyes for seeing hidden items through walls, Monty's claws for opening chained gates, and Chica's voicebox for stunning S.T.A.F.F. Bots and scaring other animatronics. However, Gregory must be cautious during repairs, as Freddy is not himself when his head is detached, and mistakes will result in a jumpscare.

At 6am, Freddy gives Gregory the choice to leave the Pizzaplex, stay, or investigate Vanny. Before the Real Ending, they descend into the sewers and find an abandoned Freddy Fazbear's location. During the final confrontation, Freddy glitches and struggles against Glitchtrap's control. Gregory must avoid hiding inside Freddy at that time.

In the Real Ending, Freddy escapes with Gregory from the burning Pizzaplex. In the Savior Ending, Gregory carries Freddy's head outside and meets a purified Vanessa. Before the Superstar Ending, Freddy is destroyed by Vanny's S.T.A.F.F. Bots, and his final words to Gregory are "You are my superstar." In the Protector Ending, Freddy sets the gift shop on fire and jumps off the roof with Vanny to save Gregory.
