Kid Icarus/Divine Physiology

Background
Divine beings are a class of immortals whose existence transcends the normal mortal conflicts and struggles upon the Earth. This status is among only the gods of Kid Icarus universe along with angels, who serve as the messenger of the gods. Gods are the beings praised by humankind, and generally hold domain over parts of the lands where humans live, whilst angels spread the word of their god/goddess and carry messages from the people. Gods also typically "embody" or are the personification of a certain concept/earthly element such as light, whom the goddess Lady Palutena embodies and upholds, which their forces and angels follow lawfully.
Types
Some divine beings like gods and angels are hard to identify, due to their "physical appearance" being merely an easy human form for the mortal race to comprehend. Though various other divine beings, like spirits, are rather straightforward.
- Gods: Gods are the oldest beings in the universe (with them possibly predating the first life on earth), and the ones who ultimately oversee the human realm and its prosperity. Like mortals however, the gods are often irrational and easily clash in global-scale wars which indirectly involve the human race.
- Angels: Angels are the messengers of the gods, and operate similarly to them in that their true forms are too abstract for mortal comprehension. Angels often represent the faction of their god/goddess and will utilize their blessings and boons to keep the wishes and demands of the gods strong on Earth.
- Reincarnated: The reincarnated are exactly as their name implies; deceased mortals who have reached the Underworld or retuned to Nature where they will be reincarnated into a new life, or reformed as a troop of their respective realm. Soul-made entities typically have the ability to combat the angels, and even gods, with divine pranks.
Abilities
- Immortality: Ageless; Divine beings lack the mortal components that would allow them to age[1] and have been around for centuries[2]. Gods like Thanatos' job is to guide souls into the afterlife, implying they've existed since the dawn of life itself[3]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; The body of a god does not hold any major value to them[1], with them being able to exist as a spirit[4], sheer hatred and memory, or even just pure will itself[5]. Godly entities, due to their bodies merely being a physical form for them to shape into[1], can regenerate their heads, lower-body half, and internal organs like the heart.
- Regeneration & Resurrection: At least Mid for their physical avatars; Gods can regenerate major organs such as the heart and even their entire head. Mid-Godly overtime in their true forms; Gods lack physical bodies and exist in a metaphysical state[4], with them being able to regenerate from their spiritual state[4], their own memories and will[5], and can potentially resurrect from a complete nonexistent state overtime. Death to gods is but a mere inconvenience[5] which they can resurrect from at a later date[4]. Due to this, gods do not reincarnate through the Underworld[5].
- Supernatural Resilience: Godly entities can persist well beyond losing mandatory parts of their body like the head or their heart, and reacting nonchalantly to being cut clean in half.
- Transformation: Morphing; Gods and angels do not have a defined form and merely take on the appearance of something humanly corporeal[1].
- Duplication: Lesser god Uranos[6] appears regularly within dungeons and exists as multiple entities at once.
- Astral Projection & Size Manipulation: Size Enhancement; The gods are shown to have the ability to project themselves in an astral state several-hundred times larger than human size, in this state, they retain their standard fighting capability and can be reformed if they are "destroyed".
- Divine Magic: The gods possess divine magical prowess which is the source of their army's power and the energy source of their technology they have in their arsenals. This divine energy is highly versatile and capable of performing a number of feats.
- Life Manipulation & Metaphysics Manipulation: Soul Manipulation; Souls are a malleable source of energy which gods can use to mold other beings, or alternatively consume and erase for power[7]. Beings like Thanatos are responsible for guiding and carrying the souls to the Underworld[3] and can even rip the souls out of one's body[8].
- Consumption (Metaphysical Consumption) & Erasure: Meta-Physical Erasure; Beings like Hades can consume souls and render them nonexistent afterwards and unable to reincarnate or ascend to heaven. Characters such as Hades can also use the souls consumed as a source of power[7].
- Attack Nullification & Corruption: The gods can remove the souls from a living being and take control of their mindless body as an empty servant to their armies[9]. with the removed soul, they can seal it within an object or cursed artifact[10].
- Mind Manipulation: Gods can directly manipulate the brain, with them being able to corrupt and control other beings with their influence, manipulating the thoughts and memories of fellow gods or restore the memories to mortals who've completely lost a lifetime of information[2], communicating telepathically and locating others via this telepathy, and even cast potent illusions[11] which can trick the extrasensory perception of the divine.
- Memory Manipulation: Through their divine powers, the gods can restore the lost memories of individuals[2], or can manipulate the memories of others and mold them into puppets for their own personal gain.
- Technological Manipulation & Mind Control: The divine powers of gods allow them to combat foes through mental strength and take control of them[10], and can even do this through sheer willpower[10], with this ability working on organic and inorganic beings[12].
- Telepathy & Extrasensory Perception: Divine beings have the unique ability to communicate entirely via telepathy[13]. This phenomenon doubles as a sensory ability that allows tracking and locating of others even whilst they're completely detached from the universe[14].
- Forcefield Creation, Energy Manipulation, & Sealing: The gods can lock people within specific areas in order to prevent progression or escape, these energy-based barriers can be used offensively or defensively like traditional barriers.
- Space-Time Manipulation, Dimension Manipulation, & Dimensional Travel: Gods can manipulate space and time with their divine magic, with characters like Viridi creating spatial rifts into alternate universes[15], Palutena creating traps that warp space and time and warps people across dimensions[16], The Lightning Chariot tearing through space to enter[17] other dimensions[14], can sustain alternate universe in their bodies[14], and even create physical objects that contain one-dimensional universes[18].
- Intangibility: Spatial; Through the use of space rifts[15], characters can travel between alternate dimensions to avoid attacks and reappear with ease.
- BFR & Dimension Manipulation: Forced Teleportation; By using the ability to warp spacetime[16], the divine pantheon can send others to alternate universes through their innate ability to teleport. Dimensional; Enemies such as the Sinistew[18], created directly by Hades, exist in a state of one-dimensional space where they can drag people into said state of being.
- Personal Domain: The internal structure of a god resides outside of the universe their physical body resides in[14], with this area being a dimension they have full reign over, though death of the main body seemingly causes their internal universe to be destroyed indirectly.
- Blessed & Creation: The gods can create blessings for people in the form of boons, divine vehicles, or things like grind rails, which only the divine can see.
- Power Nullification & Hacking: Passive; The gods have the ability to exert their power over their realms and nullify the magical powers they utilize. This can even prevent the use of abilities by simply being in another god's proximity, or across multiple universes[14]. This ability can even extend over to technological-based operations and structures[19].
- Nullification of Acausality: Irregular Causality; Contradictive; The gods and angels can kill the Chaos Kin, which is a being whose existence was created and resides in a world without traditional causality or physics[17]. This bizarre dimension is constantly warping the area regardless of where Pit and Dark Pit go.
- Nullification of Immortality: Regeneration Immortality; The gods are capable of killing each other in combat without their regenerative abilities reviving them for several decades. They can also kill the Hewdraw whose regenerative abilities allow it to grows its entire body back in minutes[20]. Protection from a Source; Characters can prevent the resurrection of other gods, like Pandora who was previously resurrected by Hades[5], by absorbing their remains. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Can kill gods in their metaphysical state or destroy their souls entirely.
- Nullification of Regeneration: At least High-Mid; Gods and angels can kill the Hewdraw whose regenerative abilities allow it to grows its entire body back in minutes[20]. To Mid-Godly; Can kill gods and prevent their regenerative abilities from reviving their bodies for over two decades.
- Nullification of Status Ailments: The healing prowess of the gods allows them to reverse magical blights such as physical transmutation.
- Limited Wish Granting: The gods have the power to grant the wishes of mortals, though the process behind this is left rather ambiguous. Furthermore, characters such as the Immortal Phoenix having the ability to grant wishes would've rivaled the gods' mighty power.
Resistances
- Lifeforce Absorption: Enemies like the Monoeyes cannot absorb the lifeforce of gods and angels due to them being "too divine" for them to touch[21]. Palm weapons also do not drain Pit and Dark Pit's lifeforce upon use despite using that as the ammo for the weapon[22].
- Power Nullification: The gods are constantly at odds in power and thus can completely override another god's interference.
- Metaphysics Manipulation: Soul Manipulation; Gods like Palutena resisted having her soul consumed by the Chaos Kin for over three years.
- Mind Manipulation: Through sheer mental might, gods can combat others in the battle of minds and control them through taking over their consciousness. One can also resist and break free of the Confusion status.
- Space-Time Manipulation, Causality Manipulation, & Physics Manipulation: Characters in the divine pantheon can directly enter and interact within the Chaos Vortex, which is a dimension where the laws of physics are completely irregular[17] and constantly warping the fabric of the dimension.
- Petrification & Transmutation: Due to the nature of the gods allowing them to shapeshift and alter the structure of their body[1], they can transform into stone structures as a means to protect themselves[23]. Additionally, gods can simply reverse the affects of transmute spells through their magic.
