Dark Necrobat
Dark Necrobat (ダーク・ネクロバット Dāku Nekurobatto), also known as Dark Dizzy, is a vampire bat-based Reploid from Mega Man X5. He resided in a planetarium somewhere in Egypt and was in possession of the Fuel Tank required to make the Space Shuttle operable.
Dark Necrobat is a tall Reploid with the traits of a vampire bat. He possesses large wings and ears, and his feet end in clawed toes. His armor is most blue, purple, and white in color. His right eye resembles a monocle and his mouth is a fanged mechanism.
Background
Necrobat was a Maverick created by Sigma three years before the events of Mega Man X5, but he escaped from his control and had remained in hiding since then. Sigma, not considering him a critical asset, forgot about him. Because of this past, he is nihilistic and aggressive, and dislikes being underestimated. He also hates both Mavericks and Maverick Hunters, and refuses to cooperate with either. He also implies that he knows about Zero's original status as a Maverick when encountering him. He has a verbal tic where he squeaks, similar to bats.
General Information
Name: Dark Necrobat, Dark Dizzy
Origin: Mega Man X
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Maverick, Forgotten Soldier of Darkness
Species: Reploid
Occupation: None
Status: Destroyed
Alignment: Chaotic Evil (As a result of his past, Dark Necrobat has become an aggressive Maverick that likes neither Maverick Hunters or even other Mavericks themselves. He does not even care about Sigma and only does what he wants. He does not care about the entire earth nearly being destroyed and even got enjoyment out of it when Eurasia nearly wiped out all life on the planet. He also finds enjoyment out of killing all reploids after Eurasia's mass destruction just for the sake of it)
Codex Statistics
Tier: At least 8-B, likely Far Higher. Higher with Overdrive
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Power Source: Solar Energy (Robot Masters[1][2][3] are built in with[4] usages of solar energy to charge their bodies and use their weapons essentially limitlessly[5])
Attack Potency: At least City Block level (Potency), likely Far Higher (Can harm X and Zero, where Dr. Light putting a warning that X would be so powerful that no force on Earth could stop him[6] and that X would need to be sealed for 30 years until he could reliably be placed amongst humanity[6]. Dr. Light even described the danger of X of being far beyond any of Dr. Wily's Incidents[7]. Even the likes of Bass, is considered only at the level of a prototype battle reploid[8]. As such he is far superior to Classic Era Mega Man, who can[9] fight[10] against[11] the[12] Robot[13] Masters[14] of Mega[15] Man 1[16], who cause multiple explosions encompassing this size[17]). Higher with Overdrive (When reploids[18] are enraged[19], they enter a state called Overdrive[20] which[21] greatly[22] increases[23] their[24] power[25] and capabilities[26] through[27] their energy[28] and can even[29] become[30] temporarily[31] invulnerable[32])
Durability: At least City Block level, likely Far Higher (Can take hits from X and Zero). Higher with Overdrive
Striking Strength: At least City Block Class (Potency), likely Far Higher. Higher with Overdrive
Lifting Strength: At least Class G (Should scale far above Classic Era's Robot Masters and Mega Man who was able to hold up Dr. Wily’s fortress at the end of Mega Man 5). Higher with Overdrive
Travel Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic (Is comparable to X and Zero and should be undoubtedly superior to Duo who can travel around the earth destroying evil energy around this timeframe)
Attack Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic (Can keep up with X and Zero and is undoubtedly superior to Mega Man who is able to keep up with Duo's travel speed which he uses in combat)
Reaction Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic Can keep up with X and Zero)
Stamina: Limitless
Range: Hundreds of Meters, Universal with Dark Hold
Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Is an experienced Maverick created by Sigma who was able to escape his control and fight on par with X-Era Zero and X)
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Self-Sustenance (All types; Is fine in space. Reploids naturally do not need to eat. They can also exist in water)
- Accelerated Development (All reploids made are all based off of X's design, making all reploids have limitless potential, which is also stated here)
- Inorganic Physiology (Non-Living Objects; Reploids are a new generation of robots which contain an innovative new feature, the ability to think, feel and make their own decisions)
- Rage Power (Physical Invulnerability; When Reploids are damaged to about half their health, they gain an extra attack)
- Limited Invulnerability (Mavericks can enter an invincible state where they can do stronger attacks. Superior to their previous models where when Robot Masters are damaged to about half their health, they become invulnerable for a few seconds and perform more powerful attacks)
- Teleportation (Pseudo; Reploids should have superior teleporters to the robot masters who naturally display teleportation through teleporters interplanetary distances[33])
- Transformation & Light Manipulation (They do this through transforming into a beam of light. Reploids also showcase this ability to transform into a beam of light to transform to specific places)
- Intangibility (Phasing/Elemental; They can use this in the middle of combat to turn intangible and phase through attacks)
- Consciousness Transferral (Reploids can have their data moved into other bodies essentially possessing multiple of them)
- Divine Protection (After defeating ViA■[34] and destroying the Robot Destroy Program within him[35], The Player was able to[36] fully correct the Deep Log in its entirety[37]. However, Via says The Player's story isn't over[38] and RiCO repeats this and says that there will be future program errors in the Deep Log for them to correct[39] and it would be insecure for her alone to manage it alone[40]. Therefore to solve this problem that can happen in the future[41], RiCO will summon[42] The Player in order to correct any irregular data in the Deep Log[43] as she did in the start of the game[44])
- Supernatural Resilience (Reploids can survive after being severely destroyed. All reploids souls are able to posses a new body if their old one is destroyed or return to their old one if separated. Robot Masters can survive wounds such as being cut in half, with ones such as Proto Man calling it merely "a flesh wound", being able to come back just fine after teleporting away to be repaired)
- Immortality (Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; All robots "true existences" rely on their data, thus as long as their data is stored they can be remade or come back if their data is specifically "SAVED". With data further being explored through here)
- Impact Resistance
- Regeneration
- Type: Conditional
- Source: Metaphysical Regeneration
- Capabilities: Through specific scenarios, one's data can restore their body throughout the Classic Era all the way to the ZX era. In Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chōsensha, Rockman Shadow's data comes out of his deceased body[51] and regenerates a new body at the very end post-credits of the game[52]. In Mega Man Xtreme, Sigma was trying to reproduce the past data of several mavericks in the mother computer to bring havoc to the world's peace[53] and the only way the past data of previously defeated Mavericks from X1 and X2 could be stopped is if X goes inside as his data form[54]. Inside the Mother Computer, X defeats Vile's data form along with the data forms of a bunch of mavericks he has previously defeated[55]. However, despite defeating their data form, their data is still are able to come back for the rematches at the end of the game along with Vile being back in the hard mode's post game story. Despite destroying Vile's data twice, he was still able to come back and better than ever in Mega Man X8. In Mega Man ZX, Omega's soul data along with flashes of the past battle in Zero 3 are trapped in area O and even after defeat, he can come back without limit even after obtaining Model OX which contains his soul data[56]. With data further being explored through here.
- Resurrection (Repeated Resurrection, Resurrection of the Deceased; Robots that are fought and defeated[57] are able to be brought back[58] as long as they still have their data[59], with this also[60] extending to reploids[61] being able to come back for rematches[62]. With data further being explored through here)
- Non-Standard Interaction (Abstract Interaction; Can directly interact with[63], harm[64], and destroy[65] a robots data[66], which all robots[67] "true existences"[68] rely on[69] their data[70], thus as long as their[71][72] data is stored they can be remade or come back if their data is specifically "SAVED"[73]. All data resides in the deep log[74] of each game's data[75] and information of the Mega Man Franchise[76] and many other Capcom franchises[77], with it being stated that data makes up the characters' personality[78], memories are data pieces that can be used to materialize hunter programs and also have the feelings of the characters[79], their data is even what determines their own canonicity in reality[80], with all characters being considered[81] data[82] alongside all universes[83] being made of[84] data[85]. With data further being explored through here)
- Possession (Reploid Souls can go back to their hollow bodies after being separated, however they cannot return if their body is destroyed)
- Resistance to
- Extreme Heats, Extreme Colds, & Weather Manipulation (Can fight inside of a volcano near lava. Can navigate through cold areas. Robot Masters[86] are made[87] to[88] withstand[89] extreme[90] terrains[91] and weather conditions)
- Cosmic Radiations (Is fine in space. All Robot Masters can breathe and survive in space just fine, with an entire game revolving around traveling through space[92])
- Mind Manipulation and Soul Manipulation (Despite how active Robot Masters are they do not actually possess the feeling to think, feel, and make decisions of their own as this level of technology wasn't realized until the reploids of the X era. Along with Reploids having something closer to a human soul then any robot Robot Master has. Robot Masters have a "consciousness" though it is different from the standard humans consciousness as it's at the level of a "cognitive circuit" embedded inside each one of them[93])
- Information Manipulation & Conceptual Manipulation (Can take hits from characters that can directly interact with, harm, and destroy a robots data, which all robots "true existences" rely on their data, thus as long as their data is stored they can be remade or come back if their data is specifically "SAVED". All data resides in the deep log of each game's data and information of the Mega Man Franchise and many other Capcom franchises, with it being stated that data makes up the characters' personality, memories are data pieces that can be used to materialize hunter programs and also have the feelings of the characters, their data is even what determines their own canonicity in reality, with all characters being considered data alongside all universes being made of data. With data further being explored through here)
- Plot Manipulation (As data determines one's canonicity in reality and all universes are made of data, one would need to fully change one's data in order to change their narrative. With data further being explored through here)
- Electricity Manipulation (At least 10,000,000 Watts; Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from electricity-based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it, with Robot Masters like Bright Man, unleashing 10 million watts)
- Heat Manipulation & Fire Manipulation (7000-8000 degrees Farenheit (?)[94]; Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from heat and fire-based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it and survive the intense heats, with Robot Masters like Fire Man, having heat that reaches 7000 to 8000 degrees)
- Magma Manipulation (Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from magma based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it)
- Ice Manipulation & Absolute Zero (0 K; Can take ice attacks from Lumine, who uses ice comparable to Drift Diamond. Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from ice based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it, even with ice as cold as absolute zero)
- Gravity Manipulation (3-D; Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from gravity based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it)
- Black Holes (Unaffected by Gravity Antonion's black hole. Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from black hole based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it)
- Petrification (Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from petrification based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it, with the petrification being potent enough to effect black holes), Acid Manipulation & Corrosion Inducement (Robot Masters are able to tank and survive attacks from acid & corrosive based Robot Masters attacks, even those with a weakness can survive hits from it)
- Transmutation (Robot Masters and others are unaffected by the effects of the[95] the mystery tank, which turns all weak enemies on screen into extra lives[96])
- Space-Time Manipulation (3+1-D) & Battlefield Removal (Dimensional Removal (3+1-D); Robot masters are able to tank and survive attacks from the likes of Centaur Flash[97], which creates a dimensional distortion where he warps space and sends an opponent into a black hole[98], with even Robot Masters that have a weakness to it surviving its hits and not being sent into a black hole[99]. Robot Masters can also take hits from Cut Man who can cut through space itself and leave dimensional tears that he can jump in[100])
- Surface Scaling and Flight (Shown here)
- Sound Manipulation (With Dark Wave, Dark Necrobat creates multiple attacking sound waves)
- Energy Projection Negation (Dark Wave is able to negate X's Charged Shots)
- Creation (Dark Necrobat is able to create several Battons to attack)
- Time Stop (With Dark Hold, Dark Necrobat completely stops time)
- Absorption (With Dark Necrobat's Bloodsucking attack, he can absorb the life energy of his opponents and heal himself).
None Notable.
Notable Techniques
- Batton Attack: Necrobat will create Battons in swarms to attack X or Zero.
- Bloodsucking: Necrobat will swoop down and drain health from X or Zero while replenishing his own.
- Dark Wave: Necrobat will create sonic waves in order to attack X or Zero.
- Dark Hold: Necrobat will freeze time in order to attack X or Zero while they're helpless.
Other
Standard Tactics: In battle, Dark Necrobat flies about, sometimes teleports, and can summon Batton Bones to attack the player. While he's flying around, he may sometimes dive at his opponents, grab them and bite them to drain their life energy like a vampire. If Necrobat is low on health, he will release Sonic Waves up and down the screen. After that, he will use Dark Hold to freeze opponents and attack with either a Sonic Wave or Batton Bones.
Weaknesses: F-Laser and C-Flasher. If Dark Necrobat is hit while he is casting Dark Hold, he will be stunned and drop to the floor. If his data is corrupted, he will be incapable of coming back.
