This idea was stolen from Gumi when he made this about a year ago on discord.
Frisk falls down the hole in the mountain but rather than ending up in the underground, they end up falling into your verse. They now attempt to do a pacifist run within the verse while still attempting to stop whatever villans are in your verse. Obviously you can say multiple verses if multiple come to mind
Save points are spread across the verse.
If you believe an opponent in the verse has a way to stop from Frisk from coming back, force Frisk to attack an enemy, or give up, then those are all ways Frisk can lose.

I'll start with some of mine that are on the wiki.
- Touhou Project: A lot of the serious villains are vengeful spirits so I don't know if talking it out will work, especially since calming them usually requires winning a duel. Frisk would need to get used to there movements and keep resetting.
- Gurumin: I don't know if there's realistically a way to simply talk it out with Tokaron, Parin and Popon need to use special weapons to nullify the curse connected to it.
- Castlevania: Alucard is Dracula's own son and can't really convince him, only really being able to get close enough to once Dracula dies. Frisk would have no real way to kill Dracula and on top of that, Dracula's natural existence distorts time so I don't think SAVE would even work.
- South of Midnight: Creatures like Kooshma I don't think Frisk would really be able to subdue. They would need to find a way to deal with its hunger.
- Bloodborne: Well most of the people are literally insane so I don't think talking it out with them would work. So they would eventually just be forced to attack them.
- A Hat in Time: It's potentially possible for Frisk to mercy The Snatcher. I think it's fully possible for them to mercy Mustache Girl, though one issue is that Mustache Girl end game has basically a complete control over time.
- Cris Tales: Empress of time passively distorts time around her so Frisk wouldn't even have a chance to try a mercy route before just dying and SAVE not working.
- MOTHER: I genuinely can't think of any way for Frisk to find a way to spare Giygas.
- Clock of Atonement: The entire point of the game is atoning and Frisk deals with people like that so this would probably be the easiest mercy spare on their list.
- Cave Story: Maybe they could find a way to spare The Doctor? He's complete evil but at the same time there might be a way to get through to him since it seems Frisk partially got through to Flowey, a literal sociopath.
- Clock Tower: They are effectively impossible to hurt without finding their weaknesses and I think they're effectively just meant to be pure evil, so I don't really know if Frisk would have a way to mercy them.

Sure i'm down ✨️
Candies 'n Curses: I heavily doubt Frisk could actually spare any of the bosses. None of them really have any potential spare options, they're kinda all down with killing children without much of a reason behind it.
Vulpin Adventure: I...dunno? Most of them probably wouldn't even understand Frisk's mercy and Final Boss definitely wouldn't accept it seeing as he broke apart the starstone to spawn monsters which are dangerous to the population of Vulpin Adventure.
ALONE: no, Soyeong is just way too far gone in her obsession with Yeongchul, even prior to the game she was an insane piece of work.
Beauty and The Beast: I think it would be surprisingly easy actually lol. Beast' whole character arc is about growing as a person to be better. Gaston can easily be spared by just feeding his ego.
Monster inc: uh, honestly i kinda doubt it. Mr. Waternoose was down with kidnapping and pretty much kill children much younger than Frisk to steal their screams and in the comics he's not down with Laughter power so even Frisk somehow learned about that it wouldn't make him change his mind.

Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion: I did a bad job at making the rules to this looking back on it. Technically for any monster he can't spare, he could undyne juke them until they finally make it to spooky..which is the one person they HAVE to mercy to say they won. ...Spooky might be aware the kid is cheating thanks to Cat-Dos counting their deaths and might actually get MORE annoyed? I'll put a pin on this and say Frisk might be able to do it...or find a way into the basement and break spooky's curse the same way the protag did
Graffiti Kingdom: Interestingly, Medium after beaten to a pulp was kinda chill with his power gone. I think Frisk is just Toriel this guy until he runs out of stamina and finds it pointless.
Space Funeral: Maybe? Good fucking luck bro...literally everyone is insane. i hope you like 40 Mad dummies
Buggerworld: Better chance than Space Funeral but The FunnyMan is a true villain...i don't think he can Asriel Save his way through that unless Frisk somehow gets their hand on the Cubicron.

[quote: A Hat in Time: It's potentially possible for Frisk to mercy The Snatcher. I think it's fully possible for them to mercy Mustache Girl, though one issue is that Mustache Girl end game has basically a complete control over time.]
Biggest issue that applies to all interactions with Hat is the language barrier given that the game consistently renders things the player isn't supposed to read in alien glyphs and then there's Nyakuza with its own langauge, but considering Hat Kid can easily hold conversations with the locals and Frisk can just flirt with Froggits despite the language barrier I don't think this has ever really mattered for either verse. Frisk might really really struggle with a lot of the game's platforming but considering most of it is possible without jumping (as acknowledged by the game with the Jumpless Emblems added to the PC version in 2024 and Zero Jumps DW Candle from Death Wish) they might be able to get access to Hat and Badge abilities to give them the edge that they need. Toilet of Doom I'm gonna ignore because it only exists due to being possessed by Hat Kid and/or Bow Kid's soul(s) who are out of the picture here. With that out of the way, just don't give the Owls a reason to be mad at you. Spiders are easy to deal with, just avoid them. Lazy Paw are nothingburger for Frisk to deal with as all they really do is steal one single pon or their hat, they could probably just find a way to haggle with them if there's any problems. Mad Crows, Fire Crows, and Pompous crows are sapient as shown in the Groovy Underdog Storybook; they're a textbook UNDERTALE enemy just haggle them with shiny things and stay out of the way of shromb eggs. Honestly I think Grooves would be the easiest of the main antags to spare. Unless Frisk is physically trying to pry a Time Piece away from him he's not going to be nearly as aggressive as he is in his boss fight as he's usually decently amicable (even if he does come across as a bit catty, it's clear that he's just brutally honest rather than genuinely looking down on his employees) and could probably be convinced to give up the Time Piece if Frisk convinces Grooves that they'll get the Conductor's awards revoked manually; no SAVE required, imo. The Mafia and their Boss are honestly a lot easier to spare then some may think, as they're really stupid and you can avoid most Mafia by just not picking fights with them, Frisk could probably just talk them out of Barrel Battle and find a way to steal Mafia Boss's Time Piece without him noticing. Given Frisk and the Anomaly's willingness to use SAVE and LOAD to make things right I honestly doubt they'd fall out with Mustache Girl and would probably be on board with helping her travel back in time and stop the Mafia, meaning we never get Time's End. Conductor has very little empathy and regard for the lives of others, but he isn't completely heartless (as proven with his grand kids, or how he ended up genuinely becoming endeared to Hat Kid even if you beat the Time Piece out of his hands that play through) so I think he could be Mercied; but I can't think of a way they could try and spare him so maybe 20/80 on whether they'd need to SAVE in order to beat him; but they could sidestep Conductor by just fighting Grooves instead so it doesn't really matter. I think Frisk has a solid chance with Mustache Girl, as she's not only willing to let a Mafia argue with her for a bit before executing him but was also willing to let Hat Kid and Bow Kid go despite her very VERY personal distaste for them. I don't think Mustache Girl would be a relevant threat in this scenario as stated earlier, but even if we do get to Time's End I think she would very much be willing to hear Frisk out as she likely would sympathize with them being a lone child just like her; overall I think it's possible but if she wants them dead Frisk is kinda screwed. Empress I know for a fact will never befriend Frisk considering at her most generous Hat Kid's charming qualities are only able to make her willing to play a game of cat and mouse rather than immediately go for the kill, however I do think that Frisk's ability to SAVE and plan ahead or even just their possible Fate Manipulation would probably get things to where the cops could put pressure on the Empress like what happens in-game. Nothing to really add for the Snatcher. Queen Vanessa is a tough one, I personally don't think Frisk could endure the colds of the manor at all but if they're playing along with the game's story Snatcher could probably do something to help them survive given that environmental details seem to suggest he's keeping Vanessa's endless storm at bay. As for the manor itself, they can hide for awhile but they're getting Travel Speed Blitzed once they get to the bathroom to try and grab the key (they can't use Sprint, Scooter, or Time Stop in the manor), thankfully they can just do Attic Skip lmao. Alpine Flowers are kinda hard to say but Frisk could probably find a way to stop them from growing out of control before they have to destroy them. I don't think Frisk could do the Time Rifts however as they just lack any of the abilities and resistances needed to properly handle them, thankfully they're optional. Train Rush and Big Parade are a no go if Frisk doesn't get the Hat/Badge abilities they need because these levels require Hat Kid levels of Travel Speed, same with Cheating the Race, Ship Shape, and Rock the Boat. Death Wish is a big no no as theres's too many missions that involve killing people. Overall Frisk could probably get about 34/56 Time Pieces (35 needed to restore all rooms in the ship) assuming they can properly craft Hats (which might be hard for them but Mustache Girl implies that she can do it so maybe she could teach them). With Death Wish there's too many violence oriented DWs, I think they could get maybe get quite a few Stamps but they absolutely aren't fully completing it.
As for addressing "while still attempting to stop whatever villans are in your verse" I think they could solve a lot of the problems on that planet if they take up becoming Crime Fighting Time Travelers with MU, but it's debatable whether they'd be able to fully fix what's going on with Subcon given that present day Snatcher probably wouldn't be affected by going back in time and preventing Queen Vanessa's tranformation.
Anyway for some other franchises:
- Super Mario Bros.: This franchise is way too broad and varied for Frisk to ever be able to fully complete all the adventure here without fighting anyone, with their biggest issue being countering the Dimensional Void and the stubborn mules controlling it (Blumiere and Dimentio)
- OFF: I think they could probably survive the various Zones. Properly fixing things is a whole 'nother story; I'm not sure if they could
- Sonic the Hedgehog: Too many mindless enemies to try and defeat
- Cinderella: Cinderella cannot find a single redeeming trait about Lucifer despite how many years she's lived with him, and it's clear he truly is irredeemable given how happy he was to murder Cinderella in the 3rd movie both before and after being given human form. The only positive trait Lucifer has shown is with his Crush on Pom Pom in the second movie, but considering he went back on his deal to leave the mice alone after he got what he wanted from them it's clear that Frisk can't bargain with him for any permanent solution. Lady Tremaine I think could be dealt with easily as if Frisk simply steals back the Magic Wand as there's not much else she can really do to interfere with Cinderella and Prince Charming's happily ever after. Overall Frisk's only problem is finding a permanent solution Lucifer and he isn't a big enough threat to need permanently defeated so I'd count this as a win given that they should easily be able to prevent him from harnessing the mice for a little over an hour
Might add more but just a few examples that immediately came to mind.
