Mario Party
Item Description Price
Items that can be bought in item shops
Mushroom When used, this item allows the player to roll two Dice Blocks instead of one. The two digits that the player rolls are added up together, and the player will move that many spaces. If the player rolls the same digits on both Dice Blocks (e.g., two "9's"), the player gets 10 Coins. Two "7's" result in 30 Coins. This is Mario's favorite item. 10 Coins
Skeleton Key This item is activated automatically whenever a player who possesses it is about to run into a locked gate. The key will open the gate – the player will be let through, and the gate will be locked again. Unlike in Mario Party 3, where the player can discard this item whenever they would like it, this option is not present in this title. This is Luigi's favorite item. 10 Coins
Plunder Chest When this item is used, the player using it will steal the item from a randomly chosen opponent. This is Princess Peach's favorite item. 15 Coins
Dueling Glove When used, the player using it will summon a Goomba. The player will then choose an opponent to duel in a duel minigame. After this, the player will have the option to choose how much is to be dueled for. This is always Coins. The maximum amount of Coins the player can choose is equivalent to the amount of Coins of the participant who has the least amount of Coins prior to the duel. This item is Wario's favorite item. 15 Coins
Warp Block When used, the Warp Block will appear above the player using it. The player will then hit the block – the result of this is that the player will warp and exchange positions with a randomly chosen opponent. This item is Yoshi's favorite item. 15 Coins
Golden Mushroom When used, the player using it will roll three Dice Blocks. The digits of all three rolls are added together, and the player will move that many spaces. If the player rolls the same digits on all 3 Dice Blocks (e.g. three "10's"), the player gets 20 Coins. Three "7's" result in 50 Coins. 20 Coins
Magic Lamp When used, the player summons the Mushroom Genie. He gives the player a ride on his back and takes the player directly to the Star Space. The player is then asked whether they wish to trade 20 Coins for a Star or not. 30 Coins
Obtainable only through item minigames, when landing on an Item Space
Boo Bell When used, the player using it will summon a Boo. Boo will then ask the player whom to steal from, whether it be Coins (this costs 5 Coins), or a Power Star (this costs 50 Coins). N/A
Bowser Suit When used, the player using it will masquerade themselves as Bowser. The masqueraded player will then roll the Dice Block, and any players whom are passed will have to give twenty Coins to the masqueraded player.
Bowser Bomb When a player obtains this item in an item minigame, Bowser will use it at the end of the current turn. When used, Koopa Kid will transform into Bowser. Bowser will then roll three Dice Blocks, and will move accordingly. Any player that Bowser passes will lose all of their Coins. This is Donkey Kong's favorite item.

Items Purchasable From Toad
Mushroom When used, the player can roll two Dice Blocks before moving. The results of the two rolls is then added together. The player can then move that many spaces. If the player gets two matching digits (e.g., a six and another six), the player gets ten Coins; however, if the matching digits are sevens, the player obtains twenty Coins. 5 Coins
Warp Block When used, the Warp Block appears above the player using it. The player then hits the block. The effect of this is that the player switches places with a randomly chosen opponent. The player can then roll a Dice Block to move normally after having warped. It is Yoshi's favorite item. 5 Coins
Cellular Shopper When used, the player is able to choose to call either Toad or Baby Bowser. When the player has called, the player may shop items in the usual manner. It is Princess Daisy's favorite item. 5 Coins
Dueling Glove When used, a Goomba appears, initiating a Duel minigame. Before doing this, he asks whom the player wants to challenge, and for how many Coins that are to be battled for. The player may not choose more Coins than what the participator that has the lowest amount of Coins has (e.g., the player cannot choose to duel for twenty Coins if the other dueler only has nineteen Coins, even if the player challenging has more than twenty). This is Wario's favorite item. 10 Coins
Golden Mushroom When used, the player can roll three Dice Blocks. The result of these three rolls are then added together, enabling the player to move that many spaces. It is Mario's favorite item. 10 Coins

Items Purchasable From Baby Bowser
Reverse Mushroom When used, the player using it chooses a player to target (this can also be the player who uses the mushroom). The next time the selected player moves, that player has to go backwards the amount of steps as shown on the Dice Block. It is Donkey Kong's favorite item. 5 Coins
Poison Mushroom When used, the player using it chooses a player to target (can also be the player who uses the mushroom). The next time that the chosen player moves, that player's Dice Block is only able to roll numbers from one to three. It is Waluigi's favorite item. 5 Coins
Bowser Phone When used, the player calls Bowser. Bowser then asks who is calling him, the player chooses one of the players (can be the player itself). Bowser then performs his events to that player as if the player landed on a Bowser Space. 10 Coins
Bowser Suit The player who uses this gets a costume that resembles Bowser. The player then gets to roll the Dice Block. Any players who the masqueraded player passes loses twenty Coins to the masqueraded player. 10 Coins
Lucky Lamp When used, the Mushroom Jeanie appears. She then moves the Star from its current location to somewhere else, essentially making it the counter-part of the Magic Lamp. 10 Coins
Plunder Chest When the player uses this item, the player gets to choose an opponent to steal an item from. If the designated player has more than one item, the item stolen is chosen randomly. This is Princess Peach's favorite item. 10 Coins

Item Bag When a player purchases this item, the player then gets to hit the bag that appears above the player one to three times (this depends on the amount of items the player has prior to hitting it). The player receives an item each time the bag is hit. The items the player receives also depends from which salesman the bag was bought. 30 Coins
Rare Items (Obtained through an Item Space, a Hidden Block, or purchasing an Item Bag from Toad)
Wacky Watch When used, this rare item sets the game to such a time that there are five turns left. Effectively, this can either increase or decrease the time a game is played. N/A
Barter Box When this rare item is used, the player who uses it chooses an opponent. What then happens is that the player chosen and the player using the item swaps items. N/A

Image Item Description
Mega Mushroom The Mega Mushroom causes players to be giant and roll two Dice Blocks (for a total of 2-20 spaces). If a player rolls two matching numbers, they earn 10 coins (30 coins for two "7"'s). When players pass anyone, they steal ten coins from the player they crush. However, this item bypasses most board events (e.g. players cannot trade for any Stars on a Star Space while giant nor purchase items from the Item Shop). However, the exception is Bowser on Bowser's Gnarly Party where players that make it to him will do a Bowser mega mini-game when they pass him, due to being their mega form.
Mini Mushroom The Mini Mushroom causes players to be tiny. It also restricts the Dice Block; instead of rolling 1-10, it only rolls 1-5. However, the Mini Mushroom can cause players to play Mini Mini-games; plus, they can move through Gates.
Super Mega Mushroom A Super Mega Mushroom has generally the same effects as a Mega Mushroom except that players roll three Dice Blocks instead of two (for a total of 3-30 spaces). If the player rolls the same numbers (three matching numbers), they get 10 coins (30 coins for three "3"'s; 50 coins for three "7"'s). Like the Mega Mushroom, players again cannot trade for any Stars from a Star Space while giant or purchase items from the Item Shop. All events are bypassed (item shops and Star Spaces), except Bowser on Bowser's Gnarly Party. Similar to the Mega Mushroom, if they run into Bowser, they get to do a Bowser mega mini-game.
Super Mini Mushroom A Super Mini Mushroom has generally the same effects as a Mini Mushroom except that players roll two 1-5 Dice Blocks instead of one (for a total of 2-10 spaces). Because both Dice Blocks only are a 1-5 Dice Block, it is possible to roll the normal number of spaces from the regular Dice Block. However, unlike the Mini Mushroom, they cannot get a total of 1 (as there are 2 Dice Blocks instead of one). The player gets 10 coins if they roll the same numbers (two matching numbers).
Warp Pipe When players use a Warp Pipe, a roulette that has the heads of the other characters appears. An arrow spins and players can stop the arrow. When the arrow stops on a character's head, the player swaps places with that character.
Swap Card The Swap Card randomly choose another player via roulette and the player who used it swaps items with the chosen player.
MiniMega Hammer When players use a MiniMega Hammer, they may choose another player to be Mega or Mini by hitting them on the head with the hammer; but they can't inflict their own effect (Mega or Mini). Then, the opponent that player chooses is given the effects of a Mega Mushroom or a Mini Mushroom on the next turn, determined by what mushroom appears on the hammer when the alternating between the two mushrooms is stopped by pressing the A button.
Chomp Call If a Chomp Call is used, four small Chain Chomps appear, surround the host that holds the Star in the Star Space, and scare them away to another space. Afterwards, the location of the Star Space changes.
Boo's Crystal Ball When a Boo Crystal Ball is used, a Boo appears and does either of the following: A) The Boo steals coins from a selected player with a five-coin fee. The victim can fight back and lose less coins by repeatedly pressing Template:Button. B) The Boo steals a Star from another player with a 50 coin fee. The victim cannot fight back. However, if the victim has a Gaddlight, the victim can flash the light at Boo and chase him away when he's after their Stars and coins.
Gaddlight The Gaddlight automatically lets the player chase away a Boo that is after their coins and Stars.
Sparky Sticker When players use a Sparky Sticker, they place it directly below where they are standing. If any player tries to pass it, any player currently on said space loses 10 coins plus the effects of a Mega Mushroom or a Mini Mushroom.
Item Bag The effects of an Item Bag activate as soon as players purchase this item. They receive three random items. If they already have one or two items, the remaining items found in the bag get discarded.
Magic Lamp When players use this, they summon the Genie of the Lamp. The genie then transports them to the Star Space. However, they still must trade 20 coins for the Star.
Bowser Suit Players can only acquire this from Bowser when they land on a Bowser Space. If they use this, they go in a Bowser Suit. If they pass anyone else, they steal 30 coins. Like the Mega Mushroom, the Bowser Suit will bypass some board events like the Item Shops and the Star Spaces. The exception is Bowser's Gnarly Party. If the player gets to Bowser while wearing the Bowser Suit, Bowser gives the player 50 coins.

Image Candy Description
Twice Candy When used, the Twice Candy adds a dice block to the player's roll. The only advantage it has over the Thrice Candy is that it is cheaper and more common. Adding a second dice block to the roll can help the player reach the star closer or other techniques used to help the player. It is very much like the Mushroom Orb and other similar items from the previous games or the Double Dice Set from Mario Party DS. Also, if the player rolls the same number on both Dice Blocks, they get 10 coins (or 30 coins for two "7's").
Thrice Candy When used, the Thrice Candy adds a second and a third dice block to the player's roll. Even though the player can travel farther if rolled correctly than a player who used the Twice Candy, the candy is a tad more expensive and rarer than the Twice Candy. It does have similar benefits to the Twice Candy, though. It can be compared to the Super 'Shroom Orbs from the previous games or the Triple Dice Set from Mario Party DS. If the player rolls the same number on all three Dice Blocks, they get 30 coins (or 100 coins for three "7's").
Slowgo Candy When used, the Slowgo Candy slows down the dice block roll, very much like the Sluggish 'Shroom Orb, but it limits the dice block roll to 1-5 instead of 1-10 (similarly to the Cursed Mushroom and Halfway Dice Block). The Slowgo Candy can be used for landing on specific spaces that the player wants to land on. It costs slightly more than a Twice Candy, but less than a Thrice Candy.
Springo Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a spring-version of the character. The player can warp to another player's space via the dart wheel and move after they made it to their destination. If used in a Tag Battle, the player can only warp to one of the opposed team players instead, and can't warp to their team player.
Cashzap Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into an electric version of the character. The player can destroy half the coins an opponent has, chosen by the dart wheel. If used in Team Battles, the player will just zap a random member of the other team's coins. Note that this just removes half of the player's coins and the player who used the candy will not earn any coins.
Vampire Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a vampire version of the character. They can take coins from other players chosen by the Dart Wheel. Unlike the Cashzap Candy, the player will actually take coins from the other players. The number of coins taken ranges from 1, 5, and 10 (5, 10, and 20 in Star Battle Arena). After the player takes the coins from their opponent, the coins that they stole from their opponents get deposited into their bank.
Bitsize Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into an 8-bit version of the character. Upon moving, the player will collect 3 coins from hitting a Coin Block every time they take a space. Since the player moves 1-10 spaces, they can earn up to 30 coins and a minimum of 3 per roll. This rare candy cannot be found in shops; it can only be found by moving through Candy Areas.
Bloway Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a tornado version of the character. The player can warp any opponent they pass back to the start of the board. It can be useful for boards such as Goomba's Booty Boardwalk.
Weeglee Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into three tiny clones of themselves and steal any candy an opponent has by just moving past an opponent. If the opponent happens to have no candy, nothing will happen. Like Bitsize Candy, it can only be found by moving through Candy Areas.
Bowlo Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a ball version of the character. The player can steal ten coins (20 coins in Duel Battle) from any player they pass. Note that any player in a Bowlo form will pass by shops, but not stars, unlike items from previous games that can make the player pass by stars as well as shops.
Thwomp Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a stone version of the character's head. The player can make any player they run into lose half of their coins. Note that this does not steal half of the player's coins; it just makes them lose half of the coins they owned. This candy also makes the player pass by shops, like the Bowlo Candy.
Bullet Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a Bullet Bill version of the character. The player can roll three dice blocks, but it can only steal one star from another player if they pass a player while in that form. The candy is only hidden in the board Bowser's Warped Orbit, where it is mandatory to steal someone's stars to win.
Bowser Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a Bowser version of the character. The player can only roll two dice blocks, unlike the Bullet Candy, but it can steal two stars from another player if they pass a player while in that form. The candy is only hidden in the board Bowser's Warped Orbit, where it is mandatory to steal someone's stars to win.
Duelo Candy If the player uses it, they will transform into a fiery version of the character. The player can roll two dice blocks and if they pass an opponent, they will start a duel minigame with that opponent. The loser of the minigame gives coins or stars to the winner. Duelo Candies are also rewards from MC Ballyhoo in Chump Charity. After the player completed the minigame, they will land on the same space as the other player, instead of continuing their dice moves.
