Background

Born is the Player Character in Nihilumbra. Born spontaniously arises in the Void and henceforth escapes. Its journey is one of pain, but also happiness, as it gains colors and power, while running from the relentless Void.

In doing so however, Born causes massive destruction as The void will forever run after it, destroying everything in its way to reclaim it and while Born feels immense guilt over it to the point it makes it wanna die, Born's will to live and exist keep pushing it forward) eventually becomes Neutral Good (Born accept that in order for others to live, it must perish, being ready to finally give itself off to the void before it was rejected due to finally being complete. Born then returned to all the places it had destroyed in order to remove the void)

Powers and Techniques

Personal Nonexistence (Spiritual Nonexistence; Born is made of pure void and it is nothing in the world. It also lacks a soul) Shapeshifting (Born can change his shape), Inorganic Physiology (Non-living Object; Born is a being of pure void), Self-Sustenance (Type 1, 2 and 3), Non-Standard Interaction (Born should be comparable to other void creatures who can harm and kill him), Resurrection (If Born was ever to die he will be sent back to his last checkpoint), Reality Warping (Born can color the world giving the ground that was colored new propreties along with being able to erase colors if need be), Attack Reflection (Born can use the color green to redirect projectiles), Organic Manipulation (Adhesive Applications: Born can make things sticky with the color brown), Fire Manipulation (Born can burn its enemies with the color red), Electricity Manipulation (Born can make electricity with the color yellow).

Equipment

Colors: Colors are abilities that Born collect through out the game, making it capable of changing the propreties of the surface it colored.

• Blue: The first color Born acquired during its journey, It allows Born to make surfaces slippery allowing him to slide on them to increase its speed or make others slide in order to make them fall down a pit or accidentally assist it.

• Green: The second color Born acquired during its journey, It allows Born to make surfaces bouncy allowing it to make much higher jumps or redirect projectiles.

• Brown: The third color Born acquired during its journey, It allows Born to make surfaces sticky allowing it to stick to walls, walk without a sound, or even immobilize others.

• Red: The fourth color Born acquired during its journey, It allows Born to make surfaces firey allowing it to damage enemies.

• Yellow: The fifth and final color Born Born acquired during its journey, It allows Born to make surfaces electric allowing it to power technology found in final area of the game.

Other

Standard Tactics: Born isn't much of a fighter, usually simply trying to outsmart its enemies by either making them fall in pits using the blue color, rendering them immobile with the brown color or redirecting projectiles with the green color. Born is however also capable of harming opponents through the usage of the red color. While not part of its own abilities, The void will chase Born wherever it goes, destroying everything in its path.

Weaknesses: Born's colors can run out, forcing it to delete some before it can use them again.
