Background

Bob is the main antagonist of the Friday Night Funkin' mod literally every fnf mod ever, also known as Vs Bob Week. He a poorly-drawn evil god that rap battles against Boyfriend several times, getting more enraged each time he loses. In VS Bob, Boyfriend has made Bob angry and now Bob wants to kill him. Before the events of VS Bob, Pico has been killed by him for unknown reasons. One form that Bob can turn into when enraged is Hell Bob and he spams notes to be ridiculusly hard in Run. He constantly breaks the fourth wall and can interact with you yourself.

In the Bob's Onslaught Update, Boyfriend is able to escape from Hell Bob after after beating him in Run and Bob follows him to try to kill him one again. After escaping Hell Bob, Boyfriend encounters Ron and rap battles with him. After Boyfriend's rap battle, Bob appears, kills Ron, and challenges Boyfriend once again. After Trouble, Bob has reached his limit and turns into Onslaught Bob who is capable killing Boyfriend by impaling him, more 4th wall breaking, and dark notes that drain Boyfriend's health slowly.

After the events of Bob's onslaught where Bob fails to kill Boyfriend, Bob meets Bob and Bosip and rap battles them. He then kidnaps them to disguise himself and Ron to battle Boyfriend once again in disguise. He also appears in the Cheeky mod to rap with Cheeky and defeats him every round. Cheeky becomes mad and BFR's Bob into his dimension. However, Bob wins yet again and collpases his entire dimension, they then start to fight physically in their strongest forms. He then appears into the Baby Blue Brother Mod to take his revenge since he believed it copied his mods due to the memey nature of it. He sends Baby Blue Brother to sleep and Mentally BFR's him to sleep. After being defeated, he summons Ron and Little Man but Boyfriend is also there to help his brother. After the final round, the brotherly bond of Boyfriend and Baby Blue Brother was too strong and Bob, Ron and Little Man were defeated.

Standard Tactics: Bob is an overall wildcard with no consistent lead. He can sing, fight physically, transform into his other forms to his advantage, BFR you, send you to sleep and mental BFR you, and even summon Ron and Little Man to help out. He also uses several abilities while singing such as an amplified absorption and breaking the forth wall to give his opponent a bad time.

Note: The reason characters in Friday Night Funkin' share the same abilities from singing is because rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin' and they have been shown to be deadly as Boyfriend breaks his bones through losing these battles and requires Girlfriend to rewind time so he can try again after his skeleton cracks and he dies. (The NSFW part specifically is a joke, Girlfriend revives him by setting the battle to the beginning just by sitting down on the speakers and can even do it while Boyfriend holds her as shown here) The official itch.io page directly states that characters such as Daddy Dearest are trying to kill him and not to die in the instructions with the only way of dying being to lose a rap battle. Daddy Dearest also hired Pico as a bounty hunter to kill Boyfriend and there are implications of even more going on during rap battles in canon. Characters that very clearly want to kill/possess Boyfriend and Girlfriend on the spot such as Monster and Spirit lead with starting a rap battle and singing. Boyfriend survives all of these situations unharmed by winning the rap battles. Tankman even implies that boyfriend was killed by losing the rap battle itself and not to mention every character has a death icon when they are pushed all the way to the end of the bar that shows who is winning the rap battle. That same bar is also directly called a health bar by Phantom Arcade.
