Gundam Heavyarms

Background

XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms, often simply called Gundam Heavyarms or Gundam Zero-Three, is one of the main five mobile suits featured in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. This Gundam was created by Doktor S in AC 188 for Operation Meteor, and was primarily piloted by Trowa Barton.

As a Gundam unit, Gundam Heavyarms is far more advanced than most mobile suits, and thus requires an extremely skilled person to pilot it. It was one of the five main Gundam suits built for Operation Meteor, alongside Wing Gundam, Gundam Deathscythe, Gundam Sandrock, and Gundam Shenlong. Although a powerful mobile suit in its own right, Gundam Heavyarms is nothing but a descendant to the highly-advanced and extraordinarily dangerous Wing Gundam Zero.

Following its self-destruction, Gundam Heavyarms was taken up to space by Heero Yuy. In secret, the five original developers of the Gundam mobile suits took the remains of Heavyarms, and not only rebuilt it, but also heavily enhanced it. This marked the creation of XXXG-01H2 Gundam Heavyarms Custom, also called Gundam Heavyarms Custom or Gundam Heavyarms Kai.

Heavyarms Custom is far more powerful than its previous iteration, and has been outfitted with the capabilities to fight in, and travel through, space. Furthermore, it has been given an extra Gatling Gun on its arm, which allows for double the firepower than it had before.
