Background
Rats are enemies that are found in Nyakuza Metro, the Mafia Headquarters of Down with the Mafia! and Mafia of Cooks Time Rift, who behave differently depending on where they are found.
The unifying qualities of all the different attack patterns is the inability to be targeted by homing attacks and speed equatable to the walk speed of Hat Kid.
In Nyakuza Metro, Rats are found predominantly in the Bluefin Tunnel portion, acting like generic enemies such as Crows with increased speed and inability to be Homing Attacked. In the Mafia HQ, they roam randomly on the supports, but will pause occasionally at an intersection to choose a new direction. Rats can also be found aboard the S.S. "None of Your Business" in the Mafia of Cooks Time Rift, though they do not move.
