The Player is the protagonist of Fatum Betula. They are tasked with feeding the magical birch, with their choice of liquid altering the fate of the entire world.
Vials: A set of three vials that are used to store various liquids so that the player may feed them to the birch.
Water: Regular water. It has no effect on the birch.
Poison: Poison obtained by poisoning the hungry cat NPC and taking their blood. Feeding it to the birch will cause all of reality to be erased.
Oil: Oil obtained by feeding the hungry cat NPC.
Beast Blood: Blood obtained by killing the hungry cat NPC.
Your Blood: Blood obtained by killing an avatar of the player.
Wine: Wine obtained from the wine cellar in the abandoned church.
Liquid Bone: Liquid bone obtained by giving one of the nightmare world NPCs the fisherman's painting. Feeding it to the birch will turn every living being into skeletons.
Plant Growth: A special type of plant growth obtained by mixing liquid bone and beast blood. Feeding it to the birch will cause it to mutate and develop an insatiable hunger.
Immortality: A special immortality serum obtained by giving the NPC in the well a skull. Feeding it to the birch will create a reality in which no one is able to die.
Tomato Soup: Regular tomato soup.
Free Will: Liquid free will obtained by speaking with God.
Sword: A regular sword. Killing an NPC with it will cause it to break.
Fishing Rod: A regular fishing rod that can be used to catch fish.
Blue Fish: A regular blue fish. Can be fed to the hungry cat NPC to satiate them.
Orange Fish: An orange fish. It can be used to feed the skeleton in the abandoned shack to obtain their skull.
Nightmare Fish: A fish obtained from the nightmare realm. Feeding it to the hungry cat NPC will corrupt its physical form.
Poison Apple: A poisonous apple that can be used to lethally poison the hungry cat NPC. Taking its blood with a vial will give the player poison.
Jar: A magic jar that can be used to store larger objects.
Skull: The skull of a skeleton NPC that can be given to an NPC in the well to create immortality.
Notable Techniques
Slash: A basic sword slash.
Vial: The player uses one of their vials to collect and store various types of liquid. Dumping the liquid into a body of another liquid will cause it to change into the liquid that was dumped.

Standard Tactics: Although the player does not engage in combat, they should be able to defend themselves physically using their sword and can feed the birch to alter reality.
