LIFE JAM GUY is a character and enemy in OMORI. He is a friendly jar of red-colored jam that sells LIFE JAM to the party on every occasion they come across him.

LIFE JAM GUY is shown to be amicable to the party, and offers them free samples of LIFE JAM. However, despite his benevolent demeanor, LIFE JAM GUY is rather dangerous as his free samples involve defeating all party members not before offering a wounded OMORI three samples of LIFE JAM.

Even though he appears to be menacing and threatening to the party, he doesn't have any ill intentions of harming them, only wanting to explain the benefits of LIFE JAM. He also has a tendency to say "haha" after sentences.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Aquatic Breathing, Self-Sustenance (Type 1. Can breath underwater and in space without issue), Large Size (Is shown to be large in comparison to the party), Inorganic Physiology (Is a giant jar of life jam), Resurrection (With Life Jam, characters turned into toast, a mental representation of defeat, they can be revived), Velocity Manipulation and One-Hit KO (Is able to move first regardless of your parties speed and the attack just directly turns you into toast), Healing (Is able to heal Omori and his party after their fight), Fate Manipulation and Immortality (Types. 4, 6, 8, and Limited 9. Can take stabs from Omori which hit right in the heart. He also exists as long as Sunny exists in the real world, bringing him back every time he goes to sleep and when Headspace is reset. It is implied that every character gets replaced and born anew every time the cycle of headspace that is fated to happen repeats. Basil always ends up finding the truth with Mari helping Omori reach it, but Omori ends up blocking it so it is not revealed by repeating the cycle from the start. Stranger directly mentions the cycle and wants to end it, and it is stated that this is not the first time Omori is saving Basil, the entire reason of the journey.
