Background
Worthless Protoplasm is a type of enemy in MOTHER 2 (localized as EarthBound). They resemble small blobs of purple goo with two small eyes. After being defeated, Worthless Protoplasms become tame.
The Worthless Protoplasm is referenced by Negative Man: "I'm nothing but a worthless protoplasm."
