Hanami is an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. He was a special grade cursed spirit aligned with Mahito's faction.

Cursed Spirits are manifestations born out of people's mind, thoughts and negative emotions. Hanami himself was stated to be the very embodiment of Cursed Energy when it comes to nature, plants, branches, etc.), Non-Physical Interaction, Energy Manipulation, Plant Manipulation (Hanami's Technique allows him to manifest the illusions of cursed plants into reality. While he appears to be manipulating Cursed Energy, he's actually creating the Cursed plants he controls with Cursed Energy. Any plant or wood attack can be erased from reality just as quickly as it manifested. This ability arms Hanami with a wide variety of cursed plants, each with different capabilities. Intelligence: Above Average (He was able to take Gojo by surprise and momentarily take advantage of Yuji's vulnerability using his Flower Field and a wooden monster in order to rescue Jogo. This was achievable due a combination of Hanami's high intellect as a curse as well as his escaping abilities and hidden presence. Gojo himself commends Hanami's ability to run away, able to evade the Six Eyes strong perception and even claims to find Hanami far more threatening than the straightforward Jogo. He is also a skilled fighter who was capable of keeping up with several Jujutsu Sorcerers at the same time and can gradually analyze and understands his opponents' fighting style to counteract with his own Cursed Techniques)

Standard Tactics:

Weaknesses: The branches on Hanami's head are his weak point, and thus not as durable as the rest of his body. His wood attacks loses power and speed as it increases with range.
