Please, Shepard, I'm a quarian! Give me a hunk of scrap metal, a circuit board, and some element zero, and I'll have it making precision jumps!
~ Tali

Background

Tali'Zorah nar Rayya is a quarian and a member of Commander Shepard's squad. She is the daughter of Rael'Zorah, a member of the Admiralty Board. Though young, Tali is a mechanical genius. In 2183, she is on her Pilgrimage, the rite of passage to prove her worth and bring something of value back to her people aboard the Migrant Fleet. In 2185, having completed her Pilgrimage, Tali has been entrusted with leading an important research mission for the Admiralty Board.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 9-A physically, 9-A with shotguns and heavy pistols, 8-B with high explosive rounds/grenades

Name: Tali'Zorah vas Normandy (formerly Tali'Zorah nar Rayya)

Origin: Mass Effect

Sex: Female

Age: 22 during Mass Effect 1, 24 during Mass Effect 2, 25 during Mass Effect 3

Classification: Quarian, Mechanic, Chief Engineer of the Normandy, Quarian Admiral

Attack Potency: Small Building level (Comparable to Commander Shepard, who could trade blows with the Shadow Broker, who could smash a large metal table), Small Building level with shotguns and heavy pistols (Can destroy rocks with this amount of force), City Block level+ with high explosive rounds/grenades (Can incinerate entire human sized masses)

Dimensionality: 3-D

Travel Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Comparable to James Vega, who could complete a full running stride before a bullet reached him)

Combat Speed: Relativistic (Can keep up with Commander Shepard, who could evade bullets this fast), Relativistic with mass accelerated weaponry (Mass accelerated weaponry can have a velocity up to 1.3% the speed of light)

Reaction Speed: Relativistic

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Striking Strength: Small Building Class

Durability: Small Building level (Quarians are considered more durable than humans, indicating she's more durable than Commander Shepard), City Block level with kinetic barriers (Kinetic barriers are capable of repelling weaker biotic attacks and grenade explosions)

Stamina: Superhuman (She does countless missions to save the galaxy and with only a few short periods of rest)

Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Several Meters with tech abilities, Hundreds of Meters with mass accelerator weaponry

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Human Achievements, Genius Intelligence, Weapon Usage (Is an expert markswoman and demolitionist), Cyborgization (Partial. Quarians have cybernetics to interface with their suit, boost their immune system, and for a variety of other tasks), Statistics Amplification (Her cybernetics and immuno-enhancers can increase her combat abilities), Forcefield Creation (Via Kinetic Barriers), Hacking (Via Decryption, Electronics, AI Hacking, and Sabotage), Technological Manipulation (Via Damping), Electricity Manipulation (Via Overload), Explosion Manipulation (Via grenades), Energy Projection (Via Carnage), Healing (Via First Aid), Resistance to Disease Manipulation and Poison Manipulation (When ruptured, a quarian's suit has combat seals clamp down to isolate contamination, and injects large amounts of antibiotics into the quarian's system) Plasma Manipulation (Can survive limited exposure to venting plasma), Extreme Heat, Extreme Cold, High Pressure and Toxins (Quarian suits are capable of protecting them from temperatures below freezing and could protect her from the heat of the Collector base vents. Is capable of operating in hazardous environments for a limited period of time. This has ranged from planets with a surface temperature of 351 degrees Celsius (albeit no atmosphere) and a surface temperature of 169 degrees Celsius and conditions resembling early Venus, planets with a surface temperature of -131 degrees Celsius, planets with an atmospheric pressure of 39.16 Earth Atmospheres, and planets with an ecosystem that induces anaphylactic shock in non-native organics that inhale it)

Standard Equipment: A pistol, a shotgun, an omni-tool, and grenades

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Tali is considered an expert among quarians in advanced starship engineering, a race whom are naturally knowledgeable in the subject and was considered such before she even finshed her pilgrimage. Her knowledge in engineering was enough for Engineer Adams, the former chief engineer of the Normandy, to note that hat giving her a month on the ship would have her know more than he does. Her engineering also extends to firearms, as her Quarian Machinist passive power in the second game describes her as possessing "expertise in engineering firearms of all kinds." She was also described as a genius in terms of electronics and mechanical equipment and Cerberus, an extremely human-centric organization, were impressed enough with her tech skills to recruit her. She was capable of upgrading the Normandy with a highly advanced cyclonic sheild that was potent enough to protect it from Collector attacks through the Omega 4 Relay. Outside of technology, she's also a seasoned combatant, having received six months of training in various survival skills before leaving on her pilgrimage and her, along with Shepard, could take back a ship that quarian marines couldn't last five minutes on. She can also potentially best a bloodlusted Legion in combat and kill him, who was overpowering Shepard)

Standard Tactics:

Weaknesses: Quarians have a weak immune system and are sensitive to outside bacteria. Kinetic barriers are activated based on the speed of an attack. A melee attack is not fast enough to set it off. In addition, the shielding afforded by kinetic barriers does not protect against extremes of temperature, toxins, or radiation.

Feats:

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Overload: Damages kinetic shields and barriers.[1][2][3][4]
  • Sabotage: Overheat enemy weapons and sythetics so they can no longer fire.[4][5]
  • AI Hacking: Hacks VI and AI to fight for Shepard.[2][6]
  • Damping: Temporarily disables enemy's biotic/tech abilities for a short time.[7][8]
  • Combat Drone: Releases a combat drone.[2][4]
  • Defense Drone: Releases a defense drone.[9]
  • Energy Drain: Drain the strength of the enemy's shields to strengthen Shepard's shields.[10][9]
