Gwain Saga

Background

Gwain Saga is a YouTube and Newgrounds animation web series created by artist and animator, GeoExe. The series was created on January 29th, 2016, with the release of the series' Pilot episode, which would be followed by eight numbered episodes. The series tells the story of Geo, a human from another universe who is suddenly transported to the world of Teora. In this new world Geo meets meets Ami, a Teoran who also happens to be the princess of the Kingdom of Gwain. The two become quick friends and would explore the world together and while doing so, Geo would learn that he has become far stronger, faster, heavier, and more durable than before. Through a series of events, Geo would meet Gwain, the kingdom's queen and would become Ami's bodyguard, were he would fight against the scientist Luna and her robots alongside his friends to protect the kingdom.

Power of the Verse

The characters of the verse are able to produce incredible feats of strength and durability, with characters like Geo being described as a "Super Being" with amazing capabilities, who can consistently damage and take hits from large robots. The characters of the verse are able to produce incredible feats of speed, such as characters creating afterimages with their speed. The series has a lot of abilities which include: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Magic, Martial Arts, Weapon Mastery, Acrobatics, Accelerated Development, Stealth Mastery, Afterimage Creation, Enhanced Senses, Superhuman Precision, Healing, Regeneration, Sleep Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Information Analysis, Perception Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Teleportation, and many more.

Terms

• Humans: Humans are species that live in an alternate universe on the planet Earth. They contain no special abilities in their home world, however if they are moved to the world of Teora, they become "Super Beings" that are far stronger, faster, heavier, and more durable than before. They are so powerful that the Kingdom of Gwain's queen, Gwain will try to put them down before they can reach their full potential and use their powers for evil. Humans in their own world seemly appear black and white and have small eyes. When in the world of Teora, the appearance of humans changes, making them much more colorful while also changing their hair to white, as they have no magic.

• Teorans: Teorans are the dominate species of the world of Teora. They are humanlike in appearance, with the main differences between the species being the Teoran's colorful eyes and hair compared to a human's white hair and black eyes. Every Teoran possess a magically ability relating to an element, with their hair and eye color correlating to their ability. Teorans are able to amplify their magical abilities with Element Crystal Books, which can allow them to master far more advanced versions of techniques they previously struggled with. The magic of a Teoran isn't unlimited however and when used up completely, the user's hair will turn completely white, though Teorans can refill their magic with Crystals. Teorans also possess superhuman abilities, although most Teorans' superhuman abilities are lesser than that of a human with a few exceptions.
  • Vampires: Vampires are a subspecies of Teorans of unknown origins. Their psychical appearance includes white skin, pale hair, sharp fangs and hypnotizing red eyes and they are considered to be extremally strong, fast, and have lots of stamina. Despite their pale hair, Vampire do have magical skill similar to that of a regular Teoran. Vampires are also noted to bite as a form of attack and can't stay out in the sun.

Verse Scaling

In terms of Attack Potency and Durability, most of the lower tiers of Gwain Saga are Large Building level by scaling to Savien, who can tanked an attack that could shake the ground, sent both him and Geo flying, and could a create large explosion of this size and Tahjin, who could slice the Gwain statue in half, which is 150 meters tall. In terms of Lifting Strength, these characters are Superhuman by scaling to Agni, who can lift up a box of Geo's stuff, with just one of his notebooks being able to crack stone when dropped and Deva, who can casually lift a giant ice anchor. In terms of Speed, most of these characters have Superhuman travel speed, being able to move so fast they appear as a blur, along with scaling to Ami and Deva, who both can run so fast that they can create wind, and have Supersonic combat speed and reactions by scaling to Geo, who can react to and block bullets.

In terms of Attack Potency and Durability, most of the middle tiers of Gwain Saga are City Block level by scaling to Geo and Marlow, who both can take a hit from the Sky Leviathan, which can destroy part of a mountain, which was calculated at this level of energy. Additionally, middle tiers scale to the Elite Captain, after he amplified his strength and defense by six, with the Elite Captain in his base form being a captain of a high-rank elite security troop, which should make him six times superior to the Large Building level done by unprofessionals such as Savien and Lanney. In terms of Lifting Strength, most of these characters are Class K by scaling to Geo, who can casually lift and throw a pirate ship, which can weigh around 100 to 300 tons. In terms of Speed, most of these characters have Transonic travel speed by scaling to Marlow, who can create a sonic boom when running, and have Supersonic combat speed and reactions by scaling to Geo, who can react to and block bullets.

In terms of Attack Potency and Durability, the top tiers of Gwain Saga are City District level by scaling to Gwain, who can casually send The Sky Leviathan crashing down in seconds, which was calculated at this level of energy. In terms of Lifting Strength, these characters are Class M by scaling to Gwain, who can casually halt the Sky Leviathan, which results at this level. In terms of Speed, these characters have Transonic travel speed by scaling to Marlow, who can create a sonic boom when running, and have Supersonic combat speed and reactions by scaling to Geo, who can react to and block bullets.
