He can be a little abrasive, such as when he doused Johnny in water without provocation, or when he punched and tackled Bobby after being tripped during soccer practice. He is hot-headed, lashing out and destroying his bike out of anger towards Cobra Kai and his move to Reseda, and breaking a kid's nose after being pushed. Though Daniel attributes his anger to Terry Silver and Cobra Kai's manipulating him into something he isn't, Terry clarifies that Daniel has always been a hot-head, and that he only brought out what was already inside of him. This can be seen when Daniel punches Johnny after hearing him state the difficult truth about Mr. Miyagi)
