Niko Bellic is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV and a supporting character in The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. He is also mentioned by Lester Crest and Patrick McReary in Grand Theft Auto V.

Intelligence: Gifted (Even though his intelligence has been insulted several times throughout the game, Niko is actually clever and cunning to high degrees. He is a former child soldier, helicopter pilot and has been implied to be a tank operator as well. Because of his time in the Jugoslavian Wars, he has several years worth of combat experience and psychological warfare was shown to affect him much less than it would a normal human. He is well aware whenever there is something suspicious about someone even if he barely knows them and is also very careful with who he associates himself with. His combat proficency is unmatched by most; Johnny Klebitz, who was capable of shooting his way through the Alderney State prison with no preperation time and only two allies stated that he "wouldn't want to get in that slav's way." Packie McReary, who is perfectly capable of executing heists highly competently alongside the likes of Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips stated that he was a man to be feared)
