Background

Shadow Lock is a minor, reformed antagonist within the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic IDW comics. He intends on erasing every book and record about an evil descendant of his, known as Stygian, or currently known as the Pony of Shadows. He is convinced by Twilight Sparkle that there is no point in erasing the past as it still exists, and proceeds to stop doing so.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Telekinesis, Aura, Text Manipulation, Subjective Reality, and Memory Manipulation (Seen here, Shadow Lock's spell erases text and the information learned from stories, and he can turn fictional events of the books around him into reality. Shadow Lock's spells directly cause the stories within books to play out in the real world, and he can directly effect the story of the comic through this ability, where it was even stated he was going to erase the comic they were in through the extent of his abilities), Sealing and BFR (Type 2, sealed a majority of the cast inside of a fictional story), Stealth Mastery (Snuck inside of Twilight's library without her noticing, even though this was a place she was usually highly active in, and snuck inside of where the Mane 6 were sleeping, though Twilight predicted this)

Intelligence: Gifted (Outsmarted the Mane 6, but was unable to trick Twilight)

Standard Tactics: He will attempt to summon beings through the use of nearby books. If there are none around, he resorts to Telekinesis and the like.

Weaknesses: He is extremely aware of his past and wants to hide it as much as he can, though this was fixed. It is implied that his abilites also affect him.
