Background

Jessie Rasberry is a minor character of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. As a young girl, Jessie was raised in the Sector 7 Slums alongside Biggs and Wedge, where she aspired to be an actress at the Gold Saucer. Her dream eventually came true, but the night before her big show, her father fell into a Mako Reactor while working maintenance and was put into a comatose state.

Enraged and seeking a way to save him, Jessie joined the eco-terrorist group known as Avalanche, who planned on destroying the Mako Reactors in an attempt to save the planet from the Shinra Electric Power Company's clutches. As a member of Avalanche, Jessie was not only responsible for supplying Fake IDs to the group, but also creating the explosives used to destroy the reactors.
