| “ | I'll win. I am Dabura. I am the Demon King! I don't care how many kilis of energy they have. There is no one in the universe who can exceed my power! | „ |
| ~ Dabura |
Dabura is a demonic entity spawned in the Demon Realm, who served for thousands upon thousands of years as the King of the Demon Realm. Though the Realm itself is mysterious and unknown, Dabura was an incredibly evil and belligerent ruler, with a heart filled with evil.
Unfortunately, this heart of evil was turned against Dabura, once he encountered the alien wizard, Babidi. Using his evil magic, Babidi was able to twist Dabura’s evil heart under his control; granting him an “M” on his forehead, and the title of Majin.
Dabura would go on to serve under Babidi blindly, including Babidi’s invasion of Earth, where he and Babidi’s other minions were tasked with gathering energy to reawaken Majin Buu. Dabura eventually was pitted against Son Gohan, who he toyed with for a while before abruptly leaving the fight.
Unbeknownst to the heroes, Dabura had sensed the evil heart within the Saiyan, Vegeta, and revealed this to Babidi, which led to the creation of Majin Vegeta. Once Majin Vegeta gathered enough energy, Majin Buu was unleashed. However, he was absolutely nothing like Dabura imagined.
Feeling insulted by Majin Buu’s innocence and toddler-like nature, Dabura decided that Buu would need to be taken out, as he would be incredibly dangerous to both he and Babidi if left unchecked. Dabura’s attempt to stop Majin Buu, however, was horribly ill-fated. Before he even knew it, Buu had transformed the Demon King into candy, and ate him.
Following his death, Dabura was sent to Other World, where King Yemma decided that he would enjoy Hell too much, and so sent him to Heaven. Now free from Babidi’s control, and surrounded by the goodness of Hell, Dabura began to see the error of his ways.
Slowly but surely, Dabura became an extremely pure and benevolent being, who would go on to help the heroes look for Son Gohan, when they encountered him in Other World. He regretted his actions deeply, truly having become a good person. He was likely revived when a wish was made on the Dragon Balls to bring back all those with a good heart, who were killed by Majin Buu.
Name: Dabura
Origin: Dragon Ball
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Demon King, King of the Demon Realm
Species: Demon
Occupation: None
Status: Deceased (Turned into a large cookie by Majin Buu and then eaten, thus being killed)
Alignment: Neutral Evil (Dabura does not cause evil for the sake of it, instead following Babidi's orders exactly as given. Though he does find pleasure in combat, he will immediately turn-tail and leave a battle if he is instructed to, or if he feels that fighting is no longer necessary), Neutral Good in Heaven (Dabura is a benevolent leader, seemingly always happy and always vouching for peace. He doesn't appear to have a strict moral code, nor does he act selfishly, merely spreading peace wherever he goes and acting pleasant to those he meets)
Grade: B
Tier: 6-C. Varies-E with Strongest Charged Blast
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Power Source: Ki (All beings in Dragon Ball[1][2][3] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[4], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[5] block attacks that would otherwise[6] kill them from[7] raising their guard[8], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[9])
Attack Potency: Island level (Potency) (Was stated that his maximum power was likely equal to Super Perfect Cell, and stated by Future Trunks to be even far stronger[10], and was shown to toy with a weaker Super Saiyan Gohan, making him above Semi-Perfect Cell, who destroyed several islands with several blast), Much Higher with Strongest Charged Blast (As he's noted to be equal to Super Perfect Cell, he should be comparable to his solar kamehameha, which is shown that if it succeeded, it would've destroyed the entire planet). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast (Charged Blast have one focus all of their energy into one single point[11], putting the blasts power far beyond what their peak strength is[12], allowing them to destroy things they couldn't prior with their regular attacks[13], this also allows them to use charged attacks that can stop enemies far beyond their level, such as Tien Shinhan pushing back Semi-Perfect Cell with his Neo Ki-Ko-Ho[14], along with stopping an attack shot from Buu absorbed Gotenks[15]. Strongest charged blast can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[16], with blasts capable of[17] seriously damaging/destroying[18] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[19]. Charged Blast also rely heavily on emotional states for example Gohan not believing in himself[20] was having Cell overpower him in a beam clash[21])
Durability: Island level, Higher with Guard Up (Ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even block attacks that would otherwise kill them from raising their guard), Lower with Ki Control (Higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them)
Striking Strength: Island Class (Potency)
Lifting Strength: Class 25 (Superior to Android Saga Super Saiyan Vegeta, who trained in 300 times gravity, where Vegeta is naturally 56 kg, making him 16,800 kg or 16.8 tons)
Travel Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Superior to Super Saiyan Son Goku on Namek, who previously in his base form traveled from Frieza's ship over to Vegeta in this timeframe)
Attack Speed: Massively Hypersonic
Reaction Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Far beyond 22nd Budokai Son Goku, who could dodge a mouth blast from Tambourine, which he used to tag the flying nimbus where even post King Kai training Goku used the flying nimbus to make it to the saiyans implying it is at least comparable to his flight speed by then, with Goku being capable of traveling over a million of kilometers in two days which results in these speeds)
Stamina: Superhuman (Has existed for hundreds of years in a presumably hostile environment, and could outperform fighters such as Son Gohan in combat. Even after a difficult fight with Gohan, Dabura was able to casually walk away from the battle once it began to bore him)
Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with Darkness Sword & Evil Spear, Interstellar with Ki Attacks (Ki attacks can reach out of the planet and to other planets. All ki attacks should be comparable to Goku's kamehameha, which reached all the way to the sun)
Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Dabura is shown to be an extremely competent and level-headed fighter, more-so than any of his allies. He is not only capable of facing Son Gohan, who has over a decade of fighting experience, but is also presumed to have existed for countless years)
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Fighter's Intuition (Dabura can outmaneuver Son Gohan, a trained fighter), Genius Intelligence, Acrobatics, Weapon Mastery (Dabura can proficiently wield a sword), Enhanced Senses, Extrasensory Perception, Flight, Afterimage Creation (Dabura can create afterimages), Electricity Manipulation (Dabura can surround himself in electricity), Fire Manipulation and Hellfire Manipulation (Dabura can spew demonic flames with Evil Flame), Petrification (Dabura’s spit turns things to stone), Creation (Dabura can create a sword and a spear), Magic (Dabura can use magic), Telekinesis (Dabura can telekinetically control objects), Fusionism (Dabura can perform the Fusion Dance)
Darkness Sword, Evil Spear
Standard Tactics: Dabura will employ hand to hand combat along with ki attacks. He will also use his stone spit ability to petrify his foes along with using his sword in combat.
Weaknesses
Q: What about the planetary feats in Dragon Ball?
A: Planetary feats are normally done through their strongest charged blast, where they can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[146], with blasts capable of[147] seriously damaging/destroying[148] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[149], though they themselves are never capable of leaving this unscathed.
Frieza throws a destroy the planet death ball attack but it doesn't destroy the planet. Goku then interestingly notes the reason the planet didn't blow up is because Frieza was too scared of getting caught in the blast[150] . Vegeta's final flash is noted it's going to destroy the planet and Perfect Cell, who is beyond Vegeta, couldn't tank the blast and had to dodge it last second or it would've killed him[151]. Goku's kamehameha was going to destroy the earth and Cell cannot tank this blast, needing to regenerate[152]. Semi-Perfect Cell explosion was consistently noted it was going to destroy the planet and Gohan and it killed Goku[153]. Ultimate Gohan dies to an attack that destroys the earth, his guard was up too since this was when he was fighting Super Buu[154]. Kid Buu shoots a blast trying to destroy the planet, with Vegeta noting he's going to take himself out with it if he lets it off[155]. In Dragon Ball GT, Great Ape Baby Vegeta shoots a super galick gun that he claims will destroy Earth, when Goku is hit by it, he is knocked out to the point that he can't move for a good while, Elder Kai and Shin later state that Baby is going to shoot another blast that will destroy the planet on, greatly injuring Baby if he's caught in the Blast and will kill everyone on the planet if done[156]. Frieza destroyed the entire earth, killing Vegeta in the process[157]. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't need to hold anything back and can go all out because anything that happens to the Earth can be restored with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Yet, none of Goku's all out attacks destroy the planet but just heavily causes shockwaves around it[158]. Semi-Perfect Cell unleashes a several blast that destroys several islands Android 16 notes that the attacks are just strong enough to not kill Android 18[159].
In the fight of Trunks vs. Mecha Frieza, who is far stronger than his final form, Mecha Frieza immediately goes for his strongest attack, the Supernova. In the original Z anime King Kai even states this is ten times stronger than the power he used on Namek:
