Nightmare Balloon Boy starts off on the chair and then moves to four sets of doors, hallway, the "X" on the floor, or jumpscares the player. Nightmare Balloon Boy functions exactly as Plushtrap in the "Fun with Plushtrap" minigame, except for the fact that he laughs or says "Hi" or "Hello" in a deep, demonic voice as well as the fact that he moves at a slightly faster speed than Plushtrap.

Nightmare Balloon Boy
Nightmare Balloon Boy is a major antagonist and one of the nightmare animatronics of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, first appearing in the Halloween Update expansion (both Standard and Halloween Edition) for Five Nights at Freddy's 4, where he is featured in his minigame known as "Fun with Balloon Boy" and functions very similar to Plushtrap. It is confirmed that he has an impact on the lore; whether his role is important or not is still yet to be determined.
This character has mature themes and concepts, thus those of young age are ill-advised to look through these. | |||||||||||||

Appearance
General Description: Nightmare Balloon Boy's appearance is similar to the original BB, but with a more menacing design. He appears to be in a perfect and completely undamaged shape.
Facial Features: Large, pointed teeth inside his large mouth, similar to Nightmare Chica. Dark-blue eyelids and teeth gums. More sinister-looking eyes with red irises, similar to Nightmare Chica's Cupcake. Narrow gray veins. His mouth goes all the way around his head. A red triangular nose and circular cheeks instead of orange ones. Brown hair, slightly shorter than his original counterpart.
Clothing/Outfit: A red and purple striped hat and shirt, instead of red and blue stripes. The pinwheel on top of his cap is blue rather than orange, with a yellow button on top. Indigo buttons instead of black. Lighter blue pants. White socks. Shoes resembling his original counterpart's, but lighter in color.
Missing Items: He lacks the balloon and "Balloons!" sign featured in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
Personality
- Enjoys Torturing Victims: Like the other nightmares, Nightmare Balloon Boy has no qualms about torturing his victims with his bony, metal hands.
- Tends to Mock Victims: Nightmare Balloon Boy has a tendency to mock his victims whenever the opportunity presents itself. The chomping noise heard in one of his quotes indirectly suggests what he does to his victims.

Sometimes a timeline gets so full that the only way to tell a real story is have the story set in a different timeline, an alternate universe, a different location, or perhaps from a vantage point that isn't entirely what it appears to be."
