Balloon Boy is a secret playable character in both Five Nights at F***boy's and Five Nights at F***boy's 2, and also serves as the main antagonist of the series. He is only available during the Q Scenario, where he appears as the starting character. Balloon Boy is an animatronic who performs at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, though during the night he works as a vendor, selling various items and parts to Freddy and Springtrap. In Five Nights at F***boy's, BB first appears during Night X while Freddy is carrying out his night of debauchery. He acts as an unhelpful vendor, going as far as stealing the Lighter Freddy found and charging him for it. He is presumably killed when Mangle beheads him before the main animatronics fight her. Five nights after Freddy and the others defeat Golden Freddy, BB somehow recovers and reappears, revealing that he had been possessing the Toy Animatronics in an attempt to kill Freddy. With their failure, he decides to take matters into his own hands and fight Freddy and his group personally. He battles them with two Omega Party Hats but is eventually defeated. In Night XX, the same events occur, though BB survives his final battle with Freddy and escapes. Later, he travels back in time and eliminates his past self, taking his place to help Toy Freddy and the others during their own night of debauchery. After Toy Freddy defeats the last camera, BB reveals his true identity and tries to continue his plan to eliminate debauchery for good. He offers the Toys a chance to join him, but they refuse. Having gained the power of Giygas while in the past, he uses it against the animatronics. The battle seems hopeless until Mangle beheads him a third time, finally killing the enragement child. In Night XXX, after being defeated by Golden Freddy and witnessing everyone else's deaths, Freddy spots BB attempting to time travel using the DeLorean, mirroring his other timeline counterpart. Freddy grabs onto the DeLorean and travels back to the 1980s with the Enragement Child. Upon arrival, they encounter Toy Foxy and 80's BB, who is opening the presents of enlightenment. This angers Michael Jackson, who attacks the group. They briefly form an alliance to stop him. After defeating Michael, Freddy leaves for Vapor Land. BB kills his past self again and recruits the Puppet once more in order to possess the Toy Animatronics. When he later tries to return to the future, he is spotted by Freddy and his group, who have just finished their fight against 80's Golden Freddy. BB attempts to leave them behind, but they board the DeLorean and mess up the coordinates, sending all five of them to a random point in spacetime. BB fixes the DeLorean, but Bonnie attempts to use it and only makes things worse, sending them all to the end of Toy Freddy's journey in Timeline XX. Before the credits roll and freeze everyone, BB escapes. BB returns to his Palace and somehow transforms into the One Winged Angel. He eventually confronts the animatronics and Golden Freddy. He is seemingly killed by a combined attack from all the Freddys. BB's story takes place earlier in the night, before Freddy starts his own night of debauchery. BB must recruit the Puppet and the Toy Animatronics. He enters the Kitchen and convinces the Puppet to join him. Using the Puppet's dark magic, BB tracks down and recruits Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Toy Chica. Once the Puppet and the three Toys are on his side, and after disabling all the cameras, BB enters the office and confronts Mangle. Unlike the others, Mangle resists the Puppet's control and fights BB directly. Despite putting up a fight, Mangle is quickly defeated, allowing the Puppet to take control of her. This marks the end of BB as a playable character. In Five Nights at F***boy's 3, although BB's body was destroyed in the previous confrontation, his soul survives and lives on as Phantom BB. In the 2030s, he tricks Springtrap into defecating on the Phantom animatronics to begin a ritual meant to revive him. Golden Freddy learns of this and arrives at Fazbear's Fright, beginning his own night of debauchery and training before confronting BB and Springtrap. BB and Springtrap fight Golden Freddy and his summons, but when the fire intensifies, BB abandons them and escapes to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the 2030s. Freddy and his group, who coincidentally traveled to this time period, hear BB's laughter and rush to confront him. After a short fight, BB locks the office doors to complete his ritual. After hours of grinding for money and destroying generators in both the present and future, Freddy and his group face the Enragement Child once more. BB reveals that he was stalling for time as part of a larger plan. A portal opens, and BB enters it, followed by Freddy. They arrive at the border between the FNAF and FNAFB universes, where BB has been revived and transformed into the powerful Leviathan BB. He reveals that he has borrowed strength from all the most powerful beings in the universe—who are all versions of himself—and plans to cross into the canon Five Nights at Freddy's universe to become even more powerful and achieve godhood. Freddy realizes BB is a threat to all of history and vows to stop him, drawing power from across the world. With one final attack, Freddy gives everything he has to destroy the Enragement Child once and for all. |

Other
Standard Tactics: Balloon Boy uses the attacks in his arsenal and skills along with putting obstacles in ones way[12] and creating foes to try and stop his opponent[12] before dealing with them himself. If he is losing during the ritual performing ceremony, he will flee from the fight[23].
Weaknesses:
- Night XX Weaknesses: During Night XX, characters can no longer consume items as much as they could before[24]. If a character eats too much pizzaa without breaks they will obtain Dietary Guilt and become unable to use health restoring items for a few turns[24]. If a character drinks too much soda, their Alcoholism Points will hit 100 and they will take damage[24].
- Night XXX Weaknesses: Night XXX carries the same dietary guilty and alcoholism points weaknesses as Night XX. Along with this, characters cannot level up in Night XXX[25].
- Animatronic Weaknesses: Despite Freddy and friends being made of metal and machinery, they are not safe from the cold, wrenching suffocation that persists in outer space, if they run out of oxygen they will take damage every step and turn[4].
- Time Travel Weaknesses: Going back into the past has one slip into a new timeline and killing their past self causes a rift to pass over the timeline and rewrite the events of the future[18].
- Unique Weaknesses: Does things that make no sense to his overall plan, for example letting Freddy time travel with him and go around the vaporwave era[9], resulting in his defeat[12].
Explanation
The Universe
It is my belief that in this universe, there exists an infinite number of theoretical timelines.
All timelines run in parallel to each other, but they never intersect or cross paths.
At least, that's how it should be.
A long time ago, someone began to experiment with the subject of temporal manipulation.
I haven't discovered their exact reasons for doing so, but I believe as with most wishing to accomplish this feat, fate was not kind to this person.
When that person moved backwards to prevent their fate, they accidentally passed into another timeline.

— Five Nights at Fuckboy's 3 Secret Report 1
In Secret Report one it's noted that there exists an infinite number of theoretical timelines[19]. All timelines run in parallel to each other, but never intersect or cross paths[19].
Timelines
I'm devoting this section of my thesis to explaining the various incarnations of the aforementioned traveller in these many alternate timelines.
Following on from my research in my first report, I have concluded that this is the path the traveller followed:
The first instance of the traveller passed into a new timeline and caused a great interference.
They aimed to take the place of their past self, but they didn't realize they had slipped into said new timeline.
Upon killing their alternate past self, they attempted to enact their plan. However, a rift passed over the timeline and rewrote the events of the future.
It was as if he had never existed at all.
Their counterpart from this timeline would never have the chance to live through the events that ultimately would decide the traveller's view of the world, and the poor choices they made because of it.
The original instance of the traveller seemed to have mysteriously disappeared after the killing had occurred.
However, I believe that they crossed into a different timeline, perhaps. I'm not positive.
This timeline was free of corruption, free of the mistakes made by their past selves many times over.
This is where I have lost track of them. I do not think they are dead, however.
The second incarnation of the traveller followed the same path as the first... up until they crossed into the new timeline.
Thanks to the meddling that the initial incarnation had caused, this traveller was able to freely execute their master plans.
Unlike the prior version, however, they didn't enigmatically vanish.
My theory is that they were instead destroyed by a devastating blow to the very core of their mortal soul.
As for the last incarnation... This is the one who the initial incarnation disposed of. He is not relevant to my research, and as the kids these days would say...
"fucking sucks."
This is the extent of my knowledge on the subject, but I am continuing my research every day.
Until next time.

Going back into the past has one slip into a new timeline and killing their past self causes a rift to pass over the timeline and rewrite the events of the future[18]. It effectively makes it as if one has never existed at all, however they do not die but potentially cross into a different timeline[18].

—Five Nights at Fuckboy's 3 Secret Report #2
I don't have much time to write today.
After further investigation, I have unearthed more knowledge about the first incarnation of the elusive traveller.
The temporal manipulation machine that they possessed was used by their mortal foes, strangely...
However, there is a glaring hole that confuses the entire discovery.
This party originated from the future of the third timeline... yet they were no different to the first or second. This contrasts with their incarnation of the traveller being... dead.
The third timeline progressed much like the first and second, including some of the traveller's initial plans. What could this mean?
I'm going to continue my research and see what I find next...
I have a hunch about this, but I'm not positive...

—Five Nights at Fuckboy's 3 Secret Report #3
It all makes sense now.
The "uncorrupted timeline" that the traveller went to was none other than the future of the third timeline!
After putting some of their plans into action, they returned to the past... knowing that if their replacement idea failed, they could still have a chance at succeeding.
However, they got lost in time compression when their foes took control of the temporal machine.
And, swift like the wind, they were defeated, left to wander the time stream as nothing more than a phantom.
In conclusion, I believe the traveller's case to be an interesting one, a life lesson to those who seek counsel by living in the past... literally.
Additionally, I can't say if all three incarnations of the traveller are gone for good. As mentioned before, the first is still conscious as a phantom. Might the others possess lingering sentiments?
This is the final page of my thesis.
Git gud, my friends.

—Five Nights at Fuckboy's 3 Secret Report #4
The Secret Reports detail Balloon Boy's involvement with temporal manipulation, specifically his use of time travel throughout Five Nights at F***boy's 2 and the Save Import Scenario. The timelines correspond to the game's three main modes: Night X (first timeline), Night XX (second timeline), and Night XXX (third timeline).
Secret Report #2 discusses the first Balloon Boy from Night X. After losing to Freddy and his group in the Puppetmaster B.B. fight, he flees and travels back in time. However, he unknowingly arrives in the Night XXX timeline, setting up the events of the Save Import Scenario. After killing Night XXX's 80s counterpart following the Mecha-Jackson fight, he creates a rift that rewrites future events, effectively erasing Night XXX Balloon Boy from existence. With that version dead, the 90s Balloon Boy of Night XXX never experiences the events that shaped his worldview, though he still appears in Act 3 of Five Nights at F***boy's 3 and continues to help Freddy in the 90s. Night X Balloon Boy then takes the Puppet with him and escapes into another timeline, freeing Night XXX from the corruption Balloon Boy would have caused. It is unknown what became of Balloon Boy and the Puppet after they left.
The second Balloon Boy discussed in Secret Report #2 is from Night XX. He goes through the same experience as his Night X counterpart, losing to Freddy and his group in the Puppetmaster B.B. fight and traveling back in time to carry out his plans. Thanks to the rift created by Night X Balloon Boy, Night XX Balloon Boy is able to execute his plans more fully, leading to the events of Five Nights at F***boy's 2. This culminates in his death during the Giygas B.B. fight, where he is killed by Mangle's Bite of '87.
Secret Report #3 elaborates on the Save Import Scenario, focusing on the DeLorean as the time-travel device used by Balloon Boy. The mortal foes mentioned are Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. While these versions of Freddy and his group originate from the Night XXX timeline, their experiences and timeline progression mirror those of their Night X and Night XX counterparts, aside from the absence of Night XXX Balloon Boy.
Secret Report #4 reveals more about Balloon Boy's fate. After leaving the Night XXX timeline with the Puppet, Night X Balloon Boy returns, hoping that if his replacement plan fails, he still has a chance to succeed. At that point, Freddy and his group have returned from Vapor Land and defeated Withered Golden Freddy during the Save Import Scenario. They then tamper with the DeLorean's coordinates, sending everyone, including Balloon Boy, to the Time Compression Zone. Bonnie further disrupts the coordinates after Balloon Boy fixes the DeLorean, redirecting everyone to the Night XX timeline, where Freddy and his group become trapped in the credits of Five Nights at F***boy's 2. Balloon Boy escapes and hides in his Palace, which is also when the Refurbs and Reverse Refurbs appear.
After Night X Balloon Boy is defeated as Bizarro B.B., Freddy and his group take control of the DeLorean and use it to return to their own timeline. Balloon Boy's remains become lost in time compression, leading to the creation of Phantom B.B. At some point, Phantom Balloon Boy ends up at Fazbear's Fright in the Night XXX timeline, where he finds the items needed for a resurrection ritual, calls Springtrap for assistance, and sets the events of Five Nights at F***boy's 3 in motion.
Trivia
- In earlier versions of the original Five Nights at F***boy's, Balloon Boy lacked any character sprites and was instead represented only as a hole in various walls.
- Prior to version 1.2 of the Complete Collection, All-Auda was known as "Ma-Auda." The reason for this name change remains unknown, as both versions functioned identically.
- Despite Marijuana Puff being labeled with a Yellow Star, which typically indicates damage-dealing moves, it does not actually deal any damage. It also does not trigger The Puppet's Power Wind.
- Toy Bonnie and Vile share a similar issue with some of their skills.
