Skid and Pump originate from the "Spooky Month" webseries, a series of annual Halloween-themed animations by Sr. Pelo that started in 2018. They are known for their love for the Spooky Month (regardless of what month it actually is), their adventures in their hometown that leads to unintentional trouble and good-natured chaos, and their infamous dance move known as the "Spooky Dance."

Other

Standard Tactics: Skid and Pump will start with their Spooky Month dance, which results in using Broadway Force that inflicts on their enemy. They will proceed to then sing, if the opponent does not sing back, their bones will crack.

Weaknesses: They are both naive and gullible due to both being children. Characters can be simply touched out of dancing to Spooky Month. If a character isn't aware what Spooky Month is or knows it's not Halloween, they will not be affected by the dance and telling them it's not Spooky Month will amke them unaffected.

Note

• Skid and Pump are toonforce characters and thus there exists multiple occasions where their Social Influencing/Broadway Force doesn't work. For the purposes of a Versus Thread it is up to the creator of the thread to suggest if they can use it or not.
• Spooky Month is treated as connected with Friday Night Funkin' due to Boyfriend making a cameo on two instances, along with the series itself being a gag series with no serious continuity. While they never show him directly, Boyfriend's actions have made him be considered popular within his game. This is likely the reason as to why merchandise and costumes were made based off of him, showing that he exists within the videos. It should also be noted that their creator, Sr. Pelo, gave the developers full consent to do what they want with his characters to be added in the game.
• The reason characters in Friday Night Funkin' share the same abilities from singing is because rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin' and they have been shown to be deadly as Boyfriend breaks his bones through losing these battles and requires Girlfriend to rewind time so he can try again after his skeleton cracks and he dies. (The NSFW part specifically is a joke, Girlfriend revives him by setting the battle to the beginning just by sitting down on the speakers and can even do it while Boyfriend holds her as shown here) The official itch.io page directly states that characters such as Daddy Dearest are trying to kill him and not to die in the instructions with the only way of dying being to lose a rap battle. Daddy Dearest also hired Pico as a bounty hunter to kill Boyfriend and there are implications of even more going on during rap battles in canon. Characters that very clearly want to kill/possess Boyfriend and Girlfriend on the spot such as Monster and Spirit lead with starting a rap battle and singing. Boyfriend survives all of these situations unharmed by winning the rap battles. Tankman even implies that boyfriend was killed by losing the rap battle itself and not to mention every character has a death icon when they are pushed all the way to the end of the bar that shows who is winning the rap battle. That same bar is also directly called a health bar by Phantom Arcade.
