Introuction

Overtime Feats are feats done over a while. In our tiering system for one to get a tier through destroying a certain namespace, they must do it instantaneously, this is due to the formula of joules per second (j/s), where the amount of time something takes lessens the total joules one outputted in a second. While it's easy to spot when a feat is overtime or not, there are some other ways we treat a feat as overtime.

Overtime feats do not scale to a character physically and rather would relegate them a tier "overtime" in Attack Potency in some cases. In others, it wouldn't be mentioned on the profile as a tier at all.

What Counts as an Overtime Feat (Tierable)

Goku and Beerus' clash cause waves that get stronger over time and will eventually destroy the universe.

The following would fall under overtime feats that are tierable:

  • Consuming Feats: Consuming feats are some of the best examples of overtime feats, as this is essentially a character that will consume everything and is rarely instantaneous unless the character in question is bigger than the object it's consuming.
  • "Would Eventually" Feats: "Would Eventually" feats are another wording for an overtime feat, as the character eventually gains enough power to reach a certain state or tier.
  • Environmental Destruction Feats: Environmental Destruction feats are another type of feats that could count as overtime feats as it could be an overtime effect.
  • Expanding Feats: Expanding Feats are another type of feat that can count as overtime feats, as this is where a character's attack expands overtime destroying everything in its path. An example of this is a bomb that explodes and slowly starts to eliminate everything in the universe as it spreads outwards.

What Counts as an Overtime Feat (Not Tierable)

Beerus and Champa overtime fighting are destroying various planets with both Angels saying they'd destroy the universe if they kept going

The following would fall under overtime feats that are not tierable:

  • The character notes they're going to destroy an object, such as the common "Destroy the Earth" statements: These statements usually have no actual timeframe for how long it will take. These are not tierable as it usually just refers to life wiping or damaging a large portion of the Earth to where the planet would by definition be "destroyed", but not blowing it up. An example of this is Godzilla destroying a city massively over time by destroying all of the buildings and land structures during their outburst.
