Background

Heero Yuy is the main protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, and is a primary protagonist in their sequel story, New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop. He is seen as the main character and face of the After Colony and Mars Century timelines of the Gundam series.

As a boy, Heero was raised by his father, Odin Lowe, to become the perfect soldier, eventually becoming unbelievably skilled and dangerous in combat. He eventually became a legendary pilot of mobile suits, notably being a Gundam Pilot, who has epxertly piloted three Gundam suits to date; Wing Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero, and Wing Gundam Snow White Prelude. He has also briefly piloted Gundam units such as Gundam Epyon and Gundam Heavyarms with great efficiency.

Heero is generally seen as the leading member of the G Team, alongside Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei. Although the other four members eventually retired as Gundam pilots and grew up, Heero was eventually put into cryogenic sleep, and continued his work as a Gundam pilot when he awoke. However, he later married Relena Peacecraft, which likely closed off his life as a Gundam Pilot for good.
