Background

Pico is one of the mascots of Newgrounds created by Tom Fulp. He originated as the Protagonist in Pico's School and continued to appear in many other games throughout Newgrounds history such as Pico vs Uberkids, Pico Vs Bear, Resident Pico, and Friday Night Funkin'. In Pico's School, he was as an ordinary kid until Cassandra, the leader of Goth Punks decided to rebel against the school with violence. Pico manages to beat all of the Goth Punks but is left with untreated schizophrenia and became homicidal after the events of Pico's School. In Pico's school: Love Conquers all which takes place in an alternate timeline, Pico was able to stop the Goth Punks from rebelling against the school by talking to them and helping them redeem themselves. In Pico Vs Uberkids, Pico, Nene, and Darnel are chosen to be used to test the Uberkids in a Competition. Pico chooses to compete in Rock Paper Scissors Roulette and all the Uber kids have lost in the end despite being genetically made to be superior. In Pico Vs Bear, Pico is recruited by a Policeman to stop a Bear named Big Brown Barry that is terrorizing and killing children, Pico was a fan of the bear before but now put his feelings behind to stop Big Brown Barry. In Resident Pico there's an army of Zombies attacking the town but Pico kills them all by himself. Many years after the events of the Pico games, Daddy Dearest is humiliated by Boyfriend after losing a rap battle and hires Pico to kill him. Pico however knew Boyfriend in the past and decided to rap battle against him instead of immediately killing him with his gun.

Weaknesses: Pico is a daredevil as shown in Pico vs Uberkids (Took 2 shots instead of 1 on his turn of Rock Paper Scissors Roulette). If Pico is beaten in a rap battle, he will have his bones shatter. However, this is only a weakness in-verse as this is a specific ability all users in Friday Night Funkin' share.

Note 2: The reason that Pico is scaled through rap battles is that rap battles are the main method of battle in Friday Night Funkin against Boyfriend, even characters that clearly wants to kill/possess him no longer can after the rap battle over. The husband also is one of the people that wants him dead as he directly sent a bounty hunter after him. It’s also shown the loss of a rap battle breaks the Boyfriend’s bones. Showing losing a rap battle does more than just simply end it. Thus rap battles should be fine to use for scaling. There's also implications of more going on in rap battles too.
