Background

Tira was a member of a group of assassins stationed in Europe known as the Birds of Passage, which had raised her since she was a baby to become a cold-blooded killer. One day, however, a mysterious artifact known as the Evil Seed was found by the Birds, which drove their leader insane. After that event, the group disbanded, and Tira was left on her lonesome.

Although she was eventually taken in by a foster family, Tira could not settle, and was slowly driven by an intense desire to kill. In a blind rampage, Tira killed her entire new family, an event that finally snapped her sanity for good. As she grew more maniacal, her personality split in two; her bubbly and jubilant side came to be known as Jolly, and her darker moodier side was known as Gloomy.

As her aimless travels continued on, Tira killed countless people using her ring blade, Eiserne Drossel. Eventually, she learned about the entity known as Nightmare, and his incredibly powerful sword, the Soul Edge. After hearing about the horribly dark power that the Soul Edge possessed, Tira set her sights to claim it.

It seems that her two personalities and her extreme bloodlust will keep her going for longer than she reasonably should)

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics, Weapon Mastery (Is extremely proficient with her ring blade, Eiserne Drossel), Berserk Mode (Bringing out her true personality is described as unleashing the beast), Electricity Manipulation (Tira's attacks can electrocute opponents), Aura (Tira can surround herself in an aura, as well as her Eiserne Drossel), Energy Manipulation (Can attack infused with energy), Damage Boost (Soul Charge temporarily increases the damage of attacks), Multiple Personalities (Tira has two different personalities; Jolly and Gloomy)

Intelligence: Gifted (Tira, although insane and with two entirely separate personalities, is shown to be quite clever. Having been brought up by the Birds of Passage, Tira was taught to be an incredibly proficient assassin who knows several different ways to dismantle opponents. She's been capable of easily taking on enemies with years of experience, such as Birds of Passage assassins', and Zasalamel)
