Background
SCP-469 appears to be a gargantuan mound of large avian wings with white, glossy feathers, curled into a massive ball measuing 8.84 m in diameter and weighing several tons. Within the ball is a humanoid figure that is 6 meters in height.
SCP-469 feeds off of sound waves and acts much like a predator-animal, enveloping its wings around its victim and stabbing into the victim to make them screa out in pain so it can feed off their sound waves.
General Information
Name: SCP-469
Other Names: Many-Winged Angel
Origin: SCP Foundation
First Appearance: SCP-469 File log
Company: SCP Foundation
Sexuality: Unknown
Pronouns: It
Age: Unknown
Homeworld: Earth
Residence: SCP Foundation Containment Area
Story Role: SCP
Classification: Keter Class
Species: Unknown Humanoid Creature
Object: Avian Wings
State of Being: Regular
Physiology: Humanoid Physiology
In-Universe Creator: Unknown
Occupation: None
Containment Status: Contained (SCP-469 is kept in an airtight, soundproof containment chamber until a viable termination method is available)
Affiliations: Unknown
Enemies: Unknown
Height: 6 meters for the humanoid creature, 8.84 meters for the ball surrounding it
Weight: Several Tons
Status: Alive
Alignment: Unaligned (Seems to act much like an animal, mainly wanting to feed off sound to grow more wings)
Threat Level: Street Threat (Any human or animal that touches or gets too close to the surface of the creature will quickly be enveloped by the outstretching wings and drawn inside, where they will be stabbed and make them scream out in pain to feed SCP-469 until the victim either passes out or dies of blood loss and/or suffocation from being buried beneath the newly-grown wings)
Codex Statistics
Grade: B
Tier: Unknown-D with Humanoid body, 9-B with Wings. Higher with Shockwaves
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Attack Potency: Unknown: True level with Humanoid body (Its humanoid body is protected by its wings completely enveloping it in a manner similar to full plate armor, implying it is weaker), Wall level (Buster) (SCP-469 has escaped from its cell by tearing open the ceiling and crawling up into the upper floor, repeating this action until it gained access to the roof outside), Higher with Shockwaves (Its flight speeds cause massive shockwaves that caused further damage to the facility rooftop)
Durability: Unknown: True level with Humanoid body, Wall level with Wings (Its humanoid body is protected by its wings completely enveloping it in a manner similar to full plate armor)
Striking Strength: Unknown: True Class with Humanoid Body, Wall Class (Buster) with Wings
Lifting Strength: Unknown: True Class with Humanoid Body, At Class 5 with wings (The wings can move around freely and flexibly akin to a snake, supporting their own weight, which weigh several tons)
Travel Speed: Unknown: True level on foot, Supersonic flight speed (SCP-469 is able to fly at speeds of over 1200 mph), Higher with the Flap of its Wings (With each flap of its wings, SCP-469's ascended higher and faster, but also shed more and more feathers with each burst of speed)
Attack Speed: Transonic (SCP-469 appears to "feed" exclusively on sound waves using the energy gained from sound to grow newer and bigger wings and feathers)
Reaction Speed: Transonic
Stamina: Average
Range: Several Meters through Humanoid size (SCP-496 is 6 meters in height). Varies, up to Tens of Meters with largest wings (Each wing varies in size and span, ranging from a few centimeters to several meters, with the largest estimated to be at least 53 meters in length)
Intelligence: Animalistic Intelligence (Seems to act much like an animal, mainly wanting to feed off sound to grow more wings)
Knowledge: Animalistic level
Powers and Techniques
Superhuman Physical Characteristics with wings, Stealth Mastery (SCP-469 seems to make no noise whatsoever due to the sound-absorbing structure of its plumage), Large Size (Supersized; SCP-496 is 6 meters in height. Building Sized with wings; Each wing varies in size and span, ranging from a few centimeters to several meters, with the largest estimated to be at least 53 meters in length), Additional Limbs (SCP-469 possess a gargantuan mound of large avian wings), Body Control (X-rays have revealed the wings to possess long chains of small, vertebrae-like bones as opposed to the few long bones in a typical avian wing, allowing each wing to have exceptional flexibility akin to a snake. These chains of bones can also "lock" together to form a more rigid structure to aid in flight or defense. Its humanoid body is protected by its wings completely enveloping it in a manner similar to full plate armor), Flight (These chains of bones can also "lock" together to form a more rigid structure to aid in flight or defense. SCP-469 can fly at speeds of over 1200 mph. With each flap of its wings, SCP-469's ascended higher and faster, but also shed more and more feathers with each burst of speed), Natural Weaponry & Penetration Damage (Physical Penetration; Despite the feathers' soft appearance, eacah barb has a sharp point that quickly pierces through clothing and into bare flesh), Healing, Consumption (Physical Consumption) & Size Manipulation (SCP-469 appears to "feed" exclusively on sound waves using the energy gained from sound to grow newer and bigger wings and feathers as well as reparing damaged ones. The louder the sound and/or higher the frequency, the faster SCP-469 grows), Pain Manipulation & Biological Manipulation (Being stabbed by the feathers has it release a potent mix of stimulants that immediately activates the pain receptors in the victim's body, with additional stimulants keeping the victim from passing out too quickly. Flamethrowers were initially used but the noise from the discharging propellant as well as the crackling flames gave SCP-469 the energy to grow faster than it could be destroyed).
Equipment
Nothing notable.
Other
Standard Tactics: SCP-469 will envelop its wings around a target and stab into them, activating the pain receptors while also keeping the victim from passing out so that the victim will scream out in pain and it can absorb the soundwaves, with it doing this until the victim passes out, dies of blood loss, and/or suffocation from being buried beneath newly-grown wings.
Weaknesses: SCP-469 sheds more and more feathers with each burst of speed. Observations revealed by the third flap, SCP-469's ascension began to rapidly slow down due to the loss of its feathers. At the fifth flap, SCP-469 had lost approximately 50% of its feathers and proceeded to plummet back down to the ground, appearing to be desperately clawing up at the sky above while flapping its wings faster, until finally crash-landing in a nearby forest.
